Balik tanaw noong Abril 1 ay nagkaroon ng pagtatapos ang ating mga kababayan sa sektor ng Turismo para sa "TOUR GUIDING SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP.”

Ito ay bunga ng pagsusumikap ng ating mahal na Punumbayan Mayor Ody Arcasetas, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office at Municipal Tourism Office upang mas lalong mapaunlad ang Turismo sa ating bayan ng Nagcarlan.

Pagbisita ng ating mga kaibigan mula sa ABC TV 5 para sa mga programang may kinalaman sa turismo ng ating bayan.

Patuloy po nating isinusulong ang Nagcarlan upang mas lalo pang makilala at dumami ang turista sa hinaharap.

Ang turismo ay trabaho!

Kite Design and Flying Contest 2022” organized by the NHCP Museo ng Libingan sa Ilalim ng Lupa ng Nagcarlan held on June 11, 2022 at Landing Point judged by Councilor Bert Sotoya, Councilor Rey Comendador and Atty. Ron Esquivel with Mayor Ody Arcasetas.

SARANGGOLA NG KALAYAAN 2022: Kite Design and Flying and Competition
In partnership with Nagcarlan Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office
11 June 2022, Saturday 2:00 PM
Landing Point, Nagcarlan Laguna

PRIZES:

1st place - 5,000.00
2nd place - 3,500.00
3rd place - 2,000.00

Mechanics:

1. This competition is open exclusively to NAGKARLANGINS.
2. Each participant is allowed to have 1 Kite Entry. 6 more slots available for registration as of 03 June 2022.
3. Kites to be used in the competition must be homemade. Kites can be made of paper, plastic, or cloth or a combination of these materials. Kite frames can be made of wood or bamboo. Kite design must adhere to the Kalayaan 2022 theme, “KALAYAAN 2022: PAGSUONG SA HAMON NG PANIBAGONG BUKAS”.
4. Commercially manufactured Kites are not eligible for competition.
5. All Kites must comply safety inspections. Only registered participants will be allowed to fly during competition time. Open fun flying will be done after the competition period.
6. Interested participants can register at Nagcarlan Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, look for Ms. Hazel Osuna) and at NHCP Museo ng Libingan sa Ilalim ng Lupa ng Nagcarlan Curator’s Office (may register at the stationed security guards anytime). Kindly present one (1) valid ID.
7. The Kites shall be given three chances to take-off (alagwa). Kites that will fail to take-off will be disqualified. A kite that gets entangled may be flown again with clearance from the judges.
8. Competition is on June 11, 2022, Saturday at Landing Point, Brgy. San Francisco, Nagcarlan, Laguna. Competition will start at 2 PM. Date & time may change due to weather or wind condition.
9. The judges may disqualify participants who will not observe the rules and regulations set by the organizers. Their decision is final and unappealable.
10. Last call for registration will be on 10 June 2022, Friday until 5:00 PM.
11. Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes. Others special prizes will be announced.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

Ground Judging:
Design (adherence to the theme, originality, and creativity) 20%
Materials (workmanship, resourcefulness, and kite quality) 20%

On-air Judging:
Flight Performance (Take-off and landing) 20%
Aerial Manuever (power movement, kite appearance while flying, and kite must stay on air for at least one minute) 40%

PAMBANSANG ARAW NG WATAWAT

Sa paggunita ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas, ipinagdiriwang din po ang Pambansang Araw ng Watawat mula ngayong araw, Mayo 28 hanggang Hunyo 12.

Ito po ay may temang "Pagsuong sa Hamon ng Panibagong Bukas" ngayong taon.

Nang magsimula po ang administrasyon ng ating minamahal na punumbayan, Kgg. Lourdes "Ody" Arcasetas, dalawa (2) pa lamang po ang accredited na resorts ng Department of Tourism sa bayan ng Nagcarlan.

Sa pagpupursigi na mas makilala ang ating bayan, sinikap ni Mayor Ody Arcasetas sa tulong ni OIC Tourism Officer Arianne Joyosa Arcasetas na maparami ang mga ito. Sa kasalukuyan po ay mayroon na tayong labing anim (16) na DOT Accredited Resorts.

Isa po ito sa mga magagandang ginawa ng ating kasalukuyang pamunuan para sa turismo sa ating bayan.
