The Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP) – Camarines Sur Chapter, in partnership with DILG Camarines Sur, successfully held the Year-End Legislative Assessment, Planning Workshop, and Recognition of Exemplary Local Legislative Performance on December 11–12, 2025 at UMA Hotel & Residences, Naga City
The activity marked the first six months of service of newly elected local legislators and focused on assessing legislative performance, strengthening strategic planning, and aligning priorities for effective local governance 📊📝

🌟 Highlight of the event was the Awarding Ceremony for the Recognition of Exemplary Local Legislative Performance, honoring LGUs that demonstrated outstanding legislative work 🏆👏

The Vice Mayors League of the Philippines–Camarines Sur Chapter gathered for their regular monthly meeting at the Iriga City Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall, yesterday, November 13, 2025. The meeting focused on key updates, ongoing programs, and the initial preparations for their scheduled activity next month, continuing their mission to strengthen coordination and service across LGUs.

A special highlight of the gathering was the delightful intermission number by Ms. Gladys from the City Mayor’s Office, whose performance added color and liveliness to the meeting.

The Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP) – Camarines Sur Chapter, under the leadership of its President, Hon. Edsel S. Dimaiwat, successfully conducted a 2-Day Skills Enhancement and Team Building Training on October 4–5, 2025, in Sorsogon.

The activity gathered Vice Mayors, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members, and legislative staff from various municipalities of Camarines Sur. The two-day event aimed to enhance leadership effectiveness, communication, and teamwork among local legislative leaders.

The first day commenced with the registration of participants and the Opening Program that formally inaugurated the training. Mr. Jaymar R. Azagra, the invited Resource Speaker, delivered insightful discussions on Personality and Leadership Styles and Effective Communication in Legislative Bodies — topics that encouraged self-awareness, collaboration, and effective governance practices among participants.

The second day focused on activities designed to further reinforce unity and cooperation, reflecting the League’s ongoing commitment to strengthening camaraderie and teamwork among its members.

Under the active guidance of President Hon. Edsel S. Dimaiwat and the continued participation of the VMLP CamSur officers and members, the activity highlighted the League’s dedication to continuous learning and professional development.

Through this initiative, VMLP CamSur reaffirms its mission to empower local leaders and legislative staff toward more dynamic, effective, and people-centered governance.

Their appointments were made during the Organizational Meeting and Election of Regional Officers for the 2025–2028 term, held on September 18, 2025, at Marison Hotel, Legazpi City.

The VMLP Camarines Sur Chapter officers and members actively participated in the Vice Mayor's League of the Philippines – Bicol Regional Chapter Organizational Meeting and Election of Regional Officers for the 2025–2028 term yesterday, September 18, 2025, at Marison Hotel, Imelda Roces Avenue, Gogon, Legazpi City.

An Oath of Duty was administered immediately after the elections, formally inducting the newly elected Regional Officers as they assumed their responsibilities for the 2025–2028 term.

Last July 25, 2025 the Vice Mayor's League of the Philippines Camarines Sur Chapter carried out the 2025 Election of VMLP officers as the new term began, The new set of officers were determined through traditional "ballot" voting by all the Vice Mayors.
The election concluded by proclaiming the new set of officers of VMLP.
