The team distinguished themselves at the Asia-Pacific Regional Rounds, held on 11-14 January 2026 at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, where they demonstrated rigorous research and compelling courtroom advocacy on issues involving the rights to privacy and freedom of expression in the age of new technologies. ⚖

In recognition of special awards, 𝐄𝐮𝐩𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐧 secured the 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, and 𝐅𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐙𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐠 earned the 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝.

Comprised of 𝐅𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐙𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐠 (3rd Year), 𝐑𝐢𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐳 (3rd Year), 𝐄𝐮𝐩𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐧 (2nd Year), 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐳𝐚 (2nd Year), 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐝 (2nd Year), and 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨 𝐍𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐨 (2nd Year); with 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧 (2nd Year) as observer and understudy, the team prepared under the mentorship of 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨 𝐄𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞 as coach and 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐧 as advisor.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬. They also emerged as 1 of 7 teams representing the Asia-Pacific region, and 1 of only 4 teams representing the Philippines on the international stage, competing against leading law schools from around the world.
