A productive and informative meeting was held to discuss the various loan programs offered by Agri Bank, specifically tailored for cooperatives and chairpersons of transport groups. Representatives from Agri Bank visited to present their financial solutions, which include loans for cooperatives, housing loans, car loans, and other financing options. Participants went over the essentials, from loan terms and eligibility criteria to required documents and payment schedules, all geared toward providing accessible financial support for the growth and development of our organizations.

๐Ÿคโœจ The conversation also touched on several application processes and requirements to help leaders better prepare and understand the procedures. Participants exchanged insights and clarified details to ensure smoother coordination and decision-making moving forward. The session concluded with a shared commitment to explore these opportunities that can help achieve respective organizational goals.

2ND ANNUAL REGULAR GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING

The Naga City Visually Impaired Transport Cooperative (NACIVITRASCO) held its 2nd Annual Regular General Assembly at the Naga City Cooperative Development Office (NCCDO), marking a significant milestone in its journey toward continued growth and inclusivity for the visually impaired community. During the assembly, members gathered to discuss important matters, including a comprehensive report on the cooperativeโ€™s status and achievements, which reflects the collective efforts and dedication of everyone involved.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Joenel L. Paawan, Cooperative Development Assistant of NCCDO, for his assistance and guidance throughout the assembly. His commitment to the cooperativeโ€™s mission has been instrumental in helping members grow and strengthen further. The assembly also served as a platform for members to share their experiences and aspirations, fostering a broader sense of unity and shared purpose.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ The Naga City Cooperatives Development Council (NCCDC) successfully held its First Full Council Meeting last March 19 at Ateneo de Naga University Coko Cafรฉ Amphitheater, bringing together cooperative leaders, partner agencies, and city officials in a day filled with meaningful discussions and collaboration. The program highlighted key updates through the NCCDC Overview, messages of support from various government agencies, and presentations that showcased the current status and best practices of cooperatives in Naga City.

๐Ÿค More than just a meeting, the event served as a platform for unity and shared purpose, especially during the Open Forum and Resolution Hour where voices were heard and ideas were exchanged. With the continued support of our partners and the active participation of our members, NCCDC remains committed to strengthening the cooperative sector and empowering communities.

๐Ÿ“‘๐Ÿ’ป Cooperative officers and representatives gathered at the NCCDO Office for the Workshop on Reportorial Requirements, facilitated by Maโ€™am Maricho T. Pobre, Senior CDS from CDA Region V last March 10, 2026. The session provided a helpful overview of the annual investigation period, report submission requirements, and compliance guidelines for cooperatives. Participants learned about the necessary trainings based on asset size, mandatory reports, and important compliance requirements to avoid penalties and ensure the smooth operation of their cooperatives. The session also covered BIR compliance and the process for securing the Certificate of Compliance, giving participants practical guidance on where to access resources through the CDA website.

CAPATRANSCO Mass Jeepney Inspection 2026

๐Ÿš๐ŸŒฟ As part of commitment to safer, cleaner, and more reliable public transportation, the Carolina Panicuason Transport Cooperative (CAPATRANSCO) conducted a mass inspection of jeepneys last February 29, 2026. The activity included comprehensive vehicle assessments and emission testing to ensure that every unit meets roadworthiness and environmental standards. This important initiative serves as a prior step before renewal and helps determine each jeepneyโ€™s eligibility to continue operating on the road.
