In line with the Department of Education Career Guidance Program (DepEd - CGP), Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School (NNCHS) on Friday hosted a division-wide career guidance fair attended by all school districts across Davao de Oro.
Dubbed as ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ณ ๐๐น๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐๐น๐ฑ๐ฐ: ๐๐ข๐ท๐ช๐จ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ถ๐ต๐ถ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ด๐ฆ, it featured a college fair by which local colleges and universities initiated and a presentation of each school district's best practices (International research publications, work immersion programs, and the like).
"All Grade 12 students are required to attend the said activity and must be accompanied by their respective advisers throughout the duration of the forum," School Principal IV Roger H. Prades said, emphasizing it was for guidance and formal supervision.
Career Guidance Focal Felicisima P. Lofstrand shared her thoughts on the relevance of this kind of program, believing it as something essential for student growth and ease students in navigating through career paths.
"The Career Exploration Expo will equip students in making the right choice with their chosen career path, " Lofstrand cited. "It is a big help for the students to be exposed to different careers and opportunities."
