The Province of Davao de Oro, through the Provincial Administrator's Office – Tourism Division, successfully wrapped up its participation in TLEX Davao 2026. The event was held from May 7 to 10, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Davao and served as a major platform for the province to promote its tourism attractions to travelers and tourism industry partners.

During the event, the province also assisted in presenting awards for the Davao Adventure Challenge Season 2, an initiative of the Department of Tourism XI, during which two of Davao de Oro's well-known attractions, Pyalitan Falls and Tagbibinta Falls in Maragusan, were featured.

Davao de Oro's participation in TLEX Davao 2026 aimed to strengthen its image as an emerging tourism destination in the Philippines. The province highlighted its beautiful natural attractions, rich culture, and tourism programs. The tourism team actively promoted the province by distributing tourism materials and introducing its travel destinations to potential visitors and tourism partners. The event also allowed the province to connect with tour operators, tourism stakeholders, and hospitality businesses.

This supports the Lambo Davao de Oro initiative, which promotes sustainable tourism development and inclusive economic growth. Through activities like this, the province continues to boost its tourism industry, attract more visitors, and create livelihood opportunities for local communities.

The province's successful participation was made possible through the support of Governor Raul G. Mabanglo and the Department of Tourism Region XI.
