The activity formally opened with welcome remarks and acknowledgment of participants from ๐’๐ข๐ซ ๐†๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐‘. ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ, ๐‚๐๐€, ๐Œ๐๐€, ๐‚๐„๐’๐Ž ๐ˆ๐ˆ๐ˆ (Regional Director, DBM RO XI). ๐’๐ข๐ซ ๐€๐ง๐ญ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐จ ๐Œ. ๐…๐š๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ง, ๐‰๐ซ. (Assistant Regional Director, DBM RO XI) discussed the overview of the DBM-DILG-NYC JMC No. 1 s. 2025, including the appropriation, release, and planning process of SK funds. ๐Œ๐šโ€™๐š๐ฆ ๐™๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ก ๐‰๐จ๐š๐ง๐ง๐ž ๐. ๐†๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐๐จ (Supervising Budget and Management Specialist) presented the budget preparation by the SK, as well as budget authorization and review by the Sangguniang Panlungsod or Sangguniang Bayan.

Furthermore, ๐Œ๐šโ€™๐š๐ฆ ๐๐š๐ฆ๐ง๐š๐ฆ๐š ๐†๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐€. ๐„๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐œ๐จ๐ฌ๐š (Chief Budget and Management Specialist) discussed budget ex*****on and accountability of SK funds. Participants were also given the opportunity to raise concerns and clarifications during the Frequently Asked Questions and Open Forum. The SK officials also reaffirmed their commitment to continuously implement projects and initiatives that will benefit the youth in their respective barangays. During the session, the federation discussed the active participation of SK Chairpersons in the celebration of ๐€๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก, spearheaded by the ๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐š๐›๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ง. Plans and coordination efforts were also tackled in preparation for the upcoming ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ง ๐…๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ, highlighting the importance of unity and youth involvement in promoting the municipalityโ€™s culture and heritage.

He formally sought the support of the SK Federation regarding their organizationโ€™s reorganization activity scheduled on February 21, 2026. The body positively acknowledged the request and expressed its willingness to extend assistance and collaboration.

The 1st Special Session of SKMF Nabunturan demonstrates its continued dedication to leadership, partnership, and youth empowerment.
