The Municipal Treasurer's Office take charge in the collection of local taxes, fees and charges, as well as the disbursement of local funds and exercising the proper management of those funds.
- it also advises the mayor, the Sangguniang Bayan and other local government officials concerned regarding disposition of local government funds and other matters relative to public finance.

nd exercise proper management of funds of the local government unit concerned.
-take charge on the disbursement of all local government funds and such other funds of which may be entrusted to lien by law or other competent authority (Sec. 470 (d)(3)(LGC), to ensure an effective and efficient management of expenditures and disbursement levels;
-inspect private commercial and industrial establishments within the jurisdiction of the local government unit concerned in relation to the implementation of tax ordinances, pursuant to the provisions under Book II of the Local Government Code of 1991, (sec. 460 (d) (4).
-maintain and update the tax information system of the local government unit.
