How it all began
It started with one public-school teacher in Calinan, Davao City โ lining up not for herself, but for her students with special needs. She spoke of their struggle: no proper assessment, no SPED teachers, no therapy support families could afford.
That moment moved us to act. We studied best practices, crafted policies, and worked with partners โ especially Atty. Antoinette โPetiteโ Principe who championed the law, and the Department of Education for generously providing the space โ to build the Davao City Special Needs Intervention Center.
A place where assessment, SPED classes, physical, occupational & speech therapy are all in one โ accessible and within reach.
