Join us for the Rabies Awareness Month Celebration and Animal Health Program!

📍 Location: Real Street, Brgy. Eco, Mondragon, Northern Samar.

🕗 Time: 8:00 AM

The Local Government Unit of Mondragon, through the Municipal Agriculture Office, is hosting a vital event for all pet owners. This program is dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of our animal companions and our entire community.

FREE SERVICES:

✅ Neutering (Kapon for Male Dog-Ayam and Male Cat-Eding)
✅ Rabies Vaccination
✅ Vitamin Supplementation
✅ Deworming
✅ Dog Registration: Only ₱150.00 (Secure an official record for your pet’s safety)

REQUIREMENTS FOR NEUTERING (KAPON):

✔️ Pet must be at least 4 months old.
✔️ Must have been vaccinated against rabies at least 2 weeks prior to March 13, 2026.
✔️ Fasting Required: No food or water 6–8 hours before the surgery.

VACCINATION ELIGIBILITY:

To ensure the safety of your pets, they must be:
✅ At least 3 months old.
✅ Apparently healthy (no fever or illness).
✅ Not pregnant and not nursing (lactating).

Kapag nakagat o nakalmot ng a*o o pusa, huwag mag-panic ngunit kumilos agad.

1. Agad na hugasan ang sugat ng umaagos na tubig at sabon sa loob ng 10–15 minuto upang mabawasan ang panganib ng impeksyon. Iwasang takpan o lagyan ng kung anu-anong gamot ang sugat kung walang payo ng propesyonal.

2. Pumunta agad sa pinakamalapit na Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC) para sa tamang pagsusuri, bakuna, at payo ng health professional.

3. Obserbahan ang hayop sa loob ng 14 na araw. Kung ito ay nanatiling malusog, karaniwang indikasyon ito na wala itong rabies. Gayunpaman, huwag ipagwalang-bahala ang anumang kagat o kalmot (kahit maliit).
