Our official entry dish to the KUSINA Mondragon Culinary Cook-off, held early this morning at the municipal covered court, Mondragon, Northern Samar.

The dish was prepared and presented by our very own Sangguniang Barangay Council member, Hon. Jowie Coprada .

🔴 E-Bike Patrol Vehicle

Under the Bawat Barangay Makikinabang (BBM) Program, every barangay receives ₱200,000 in financial assistance. The fund is generally divided as follows:

👉 ₱100,000 – Educational assistance/scholarships for five qualified scholars, with ₱20,000 each.

👉 ₱100,000 – Community priority projects, to be used for projects and services identified by the barangay.

The BLGU - Doña Lucia, through a thorough discussion during a regular session, agreed to invest in an E-Bike Patrol Vehicle.

The E-Bike Patrol Vehicle will be used to strengthen barangay peace and order, improve public safety, and enhance the delivery of basic services. It will enable barangay officials and tanods to conduct regular patrols, respond more quickly to emergencies and incidents, monitor public areas, and assist during disaster response and community activities.

Being a great alternative from a traditional patrol vehicle, an E-Bike is also a cost-effective and environmentally friendly mode of transportation, reducing fuel and maintenance expenses while ensuring efficient mobility within the barangay.

Steps on how to secure National Police Clearance:

STEP 1
-Online Application and appointment, please log in at https://pnpclearance.ph and fill up all necessary personal information
-If First-time job seeker, check the box in the application and secure a certification from barangay for first-time job seeker in order to avail FREE

STEP 2
-Payment through online transactions (Mobile banking, GCASH, Paymaya or any online payment)

-Payment through Landbank, Palawan, 7/11, Bayad Center

STEP 3
-Proceed to Mondragon MPS on the date of your appointment and present your Proof of Payment and one (1) valid ID.

STEP 4
-Releasing of National Police Clearance

REQUIREMENTS:
- Two (2) valid government issued IDs
- If only one valid ID is available, you can present it together with a Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate

Release of Php 100,000.00 to outstanding and deserving scholars.

Under the Bawat Barangay Makikinabang (BBM) Program, every barangay receives ₱200,000.00 in financial assistance.

The fund is generally divided into Community Priority Projects and Educational Assistance/Scholarships to five qualified, derserving, and outstanding scholars, with ₱ 20,000.00 each.

The distribution of the said amount to the selected students was conducted last July 15, 2026.

The purpose of the educational assistance under the Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program (BBMP) is to:

Help financially disadvantaged students continue their college education by reducing the burden of tuition, school supplies, transportation, and other educational expenses.

Increase access to higher education for deserving students from every barangay.

Reduce the number of students who stop schooling because of financial difficulties.

Invest in human capital by helping students complete their education, improve their skills, and become more employable.

Promote equal opportunities by ensuring that every barangay has beneficiaries regardless of its size or economic status.
