IN PHOTOS | The Committee on Education, Tourism, Culture and the Arts, and Heritage, chaired by Coun. Michael B. Uycoco, conducted a hearing to deliberate on the proposed resolutions recognizing the scholarly articles produced by Tarlac State University in connection with the cultural and historical study conducted for the Municipality of Moncada.

The hearing likewise tackled the proposed renewal of the agreement between the two parties aimed at completing the historical preservation study, with the end in view of increasing public awareness and appreciation of Moncada’s rich culture and heritage.

Present during the hearing were members of the Sangguniang Bayan, together with Vice Mayor Jessie Aquino and Mr. Andrew Corpuz, Tourism Officer and focal person for the partnership.

IN PHOTOS | Committee Hearing on the proposed agreement with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) aimed at strengthening the implementation of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP).

The hearing was led by Coun. Jayvee Natividad, Chairperson of the SB Committee on Labor and Employment, together with the committee members. Vice Mayor Jessie Aquino was also in attendance.

The DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) is a community-based package of livelihood assistance designed to help vulnerable and marginalized workers establish or enhance sustainable sources of income. The program primarily benefits indigent citizens, including child laborers, farmers, and other disadvantaged sectors, with the end in view of improving their living conditions and overall quality of life.

The PESO personnel, headed by Ms. Dianne Crystal David, served as resource persons during the hearing.

McDonald's Branch Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony

Progress is serving up something fresh in Moncada as the town officially broke ground today on its highly anticipated McDonald’s branch. LGU Executives and representatives from McDonald's gathered at the site to drop the time capsule, signaling the start of a project that is set to reshape the town's commercial landscape.

More than just a new dining spot, the arrival of the fast-food giant represents a massive vote of confidence in Moncada’s business-friendly climate. The new establishment is slated to open later this year, offering local families a new gathering place and providing fresh employment opportunities for Moncada's workforce and youth.

✅ Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-002
Institutionalizing the Local Price Coordinating Council (LPCC) in Moncada to strengthen consumer protection and stabilize prices of basic necessities and prime commodities. (Authored by Coun. Jayvee B. Natividad)

✅ Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-003
Supporting the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) and providing local implementation measures to protect children and families from preventable diseases. (Authored by Coun. Janius John C. Yasay)

✅ Municipal Ordinance No. 2026-004
