Today marks the beautiful conclusion of our Youth Development Session Volume III with the theme “Talk it Out, Heal It Up, Glow On” at Floro L. Medina Memorial School, Brgy. Santa Maria, Mobo, Masbate. 💛

MOO Mobo is full of gratitude as we wrapped up this meaningful journey with our dear youth. Today, we were reminded that the family is not just our first home—but our first teacher, first support system, and first source of love and guidance.

To our amazing participants, thank you for your openness, honesty, and courage to share your stories. Your voices matter. Your dreams are valid. And your families—despite imperfections—remain a powerful foundation in shaping who you are and who you will become.

To everyone who made this session possible, thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to youth empowerment. Together, we are planting seeds of purpose, strengthening family bonds, and building a generation grounded in values, resilience, and hope.

Hindi matitinag ang ating malasakit at pagtutok sa kapakanan ng bawat pamilya—dahil sa oras ng sakuna, ang pagkalinga at pag-asa ang laging inuuna.

𝟓𝟔𝟓 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐩𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐨, 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐒𝐖𝐃

Sa kabila ng tatlong araw na magkasunod na armadong engkwentro sa pagitan ng pamahalaan at mga pinaghihinalaang kasapi ng CTGs–NPA sa bayan ng Mobo, Masbate nito lamang Agosto 31-Setyembre 2, hindi nag-atubiling umagapay ang pamahalaan sa mga residenteng labis na naapektuhan ng takot at pagkaantala ng kabuhayan.

Sa pamamagitan ng bayanihan ng DSWD Field Office V–Bicol Region, Armed Forces of the Philippines, at Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Mobo, umabot sa 565 Family Food Packs ang naipamahagi sa mga pamilya at magsasakang labis na naapektuhan ng nangyaring engkwentro.

Dulot ng naturang sagupaan, kung saan dalawang pinaghihinalaang NPA ang nasawi at isang sundalo ng Philippine Army ang nagbuwis ng buhay, naranasan ng komunidad ang suspensyon ng klase, pagkaantala ng kabuhayan, at pagkawala ng kita ng ilang residente.

Patuloy ang DSWD sa pakikiisa sa iba’t ibang sektor upang matiyak na sa gitna ng krisis, ang ating mga kababayan ay may sapat na suporta at tulong para makabangon.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: On September 5, 2024, the DSWD core programs in the Municipality of Mobo — the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), and KALAHI-CIDSS — together with LGU Mobo and partner agencies such as the BJMP, PNP, BFP, and DepEd, gathered for the 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧-𝘼𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚 (𝙈𝙄𝘼𝘾) 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜.

The meeting facilitated communication, problem-solving, and resource convergence to ensure effective project implementation, enhance community participation, and monitor progress towards poverty reduction goals, while also underscoring the importance of convergence and partnership by uniting stakeholders to share updates, address challenges, and design strategies that uplift families and strengthen communities.

Guided by collaboration, these efforts move forward with a shared commitment to build a 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐬. ✨

On September 3, 2025, the Municipal Operations Office Mobo successfully conducted an insightful 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 (4𝙋𝙨) 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙬𝙡𝙮 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 on September 4, 2025 at DSWD 4Ps Office, Poblacion, Mobo, Masbate. 🏛️

This orientation served as a platform to present the goals, processes, and key responsibilities of 4Ps, while emphasizing the vital role of our local leaders as partners in empowering families to achieve improved well-being and self-sufficiency.

🎤🎤🎤Isang Makabuluhang Pagsasanay para sa Komunidad!

Ang Isa sa ating mga Municipal Links na si Mr. Vincent Bonafus, RSW, ay naging resource person sa "Building Community-Based Advocate: Training of Trainer on Gender-Based Violence Laws and SRHR Education" nitong Hulyo 24-25, 2025 sa Chichay Private Resort, Mobo, Masbate!

Sya ay nagbahagi ng kanyang kaalaman ay propesyonal na diskusyon tungkol sa Fundamentals ng Child Protection at skills sa Facilitation at Community Education. Talagang malaking tulong ito para sa ating mga kalahok mula sa iba't ibang sektor ng mga peer educators.

Ang DSWD 4Psay patuloy na makikipagtulungan sa ating partners at stakeholders tungo sa layuning makapagbigay ng positibong pagbabago sa buhay ng mga miyembro ng komunidad, sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng teknikal na tulong at pagsasama-sama para sa patuloy na pagpapaunlad ng komunidad.

Sama-sama nating palakasin ang ating komunidad para mas maging ligtas at mapagkalinga. Ang pagkakaisa natin, mula sa mga opisyal hanggang sa mga samahan at NGOs, ang susi para maprotektahan ang bawat isa, lalo na ang mga bata.

📍Bagyong Dante | Sa Pakikipag-ugnayan sa MDRRMO-Mobo

Bilang tugon sa epekto ng Bagyong Dante, ang DSWD 4Ps Municipal Operations Office - Mobo ay agad na kumilos katuwang ang Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) sa pangunguna ni Sir Richard Lupango upang matiyak ang kaligtasan at agarang tulong sa mga pamilyang 4Ps na apektado.

✅ Mabilis na assessment sa mga naapektuhang benepisyaryo
✅ Paghahatid ng relief goods at family food packs sa mga benepisyaryo

🤝 Ang pagkakaisa ng DSWD 4Ps at MDRRMO-Mobo ay patunay ng bayanihan para sa ligtas at maagap na pagtugon sa sakuna.

📌 Paalala sa ating mga 4Ps partner-beneficiaries: Manatiling ligtas, makinig sa abiso ng inyong barangay, at agad makipag-ugnayan sa inyong Municipal Link kung kayo ay nangangailangan ng tulong.
