𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | The youth of Malitbog came together for three days of talent, knowledge, creativity, and sportsmanship as Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 was held on August 29–31 at the Malitbog Multipurpose Court, carrying the theme “𝘋𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘴, 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘈𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴.”

The celebration featured the 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬, 𝙎𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙀𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙒𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙯 𝘽𝙚𝙚, and 𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙮𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙊𝘿𝙇, giving young participants an avenue to showcase their skills, compete with one another, and strengthen camaraderie through meaningful youth-centered activities.

𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗚𝗢 𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗔𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 will take place from August 29 to 31, featuring a series of activities that showcase the talents, skills, creativity, and camaraderie of the youth.

The three-day celebration will feature the 𝘾𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬 on August 29, followed by 𝙎𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙀𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙒𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, and 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙯 𝘽𝙚𝙚 on August 30. The festivities will continue on August 31 with 𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙮𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙊𝘿𝙇, culminating in an Awarding Ceremony at 6:00 PM onwards.

With the theme “𝘋𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘴, 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘈𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴,” the celebration aims to bring the youth together in a meaningful and enjoyable three-day event.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | The Malitbog youths gathered for the 2026 Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Assembly held on August 21, 2026, at the Malitbog Multipurpose Court.

The assembly was facilitated by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials of Malitbog, led by SK Chairman John Lloyd Nicolas. Among the matters discussed were the SK Annual Budget, SK Supplemental Budget, Sangguniang Bayan Ordinances, and the preparations for the 2026 Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration.

Present during the assembly were SK Kagawads Jomar Fraginal, Lalie Jean Taguilid, Joshua Mikael Nale, Raven Doma, and Kenneth Ojeda, together with SK Secretary Loriemae Talagtag and SK Treasurer Angela Baal.
