A heartfelt congratulations to 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐞 of Cluster 3 for being crowned the first-ever 𝗗𝗶𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | Showcasing Community Collaboration for Literacy

The Synergia Foundation Inc. visited the Barangay Cabalabaguan Reading Center on September 3, 2026, highlighting the importance of community-driven initiatives in strengthening literacy and learning opportunities for children and the youth.

The visit was led by Mr. Edwin Nacionales, Synergia Program Director, Mr. Mark Anthony Pecaolo, and Ma. Milwida Guevarra of the Synergia Foundation Inc., together with Dr. Bimbo S. Casquite, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS), and Mr. Enrico L. Matapuego, Principal of Mina Central School.

Also present during the visit were Madam Lydia E. Grabato, Ma. Ruby Primero, Ms. Suzelle Pineda, SB Luda Ahumada, Ms. Dory Emelo, and Ma’am Henerisa Senosa, who joined the delegation in recognizing the value of the Reading Center as a space for learning, reading, and community engagement.

The visit underscored the shared commitment of the participating organizations and education stakeholders to create accessible learning spaces and foster a culture of reading within the community.

Through initiatives such as the Barangay Cabalabaguan Reading Center, the community continues to demonstrate that meaningful partnerships can help bring learning opportunities closer to every child.

To the Barangay Council of Barangay Cabalabaguan, thank you for your unwavering support, trust, and partnership in making Ignite 2026 a meaningful celebration for the youth of our barangay.

To our supportive parents and guardians, thank you for allowing and encouraging your children to take part in this three-day experience. Your support gave our young people the opportunity to learn, connect, discover their potential, and create memories that they will carry beyond these three days.

To our speakers, guests, facilitators, judges, volunteers, and everyone who generously shared their time, knowledge, and talents—thank you for inspiring our youth and making every activity more meaningful.

And most especially, to the Youth of Barangay Cabalabaguan, this celebration was made for and because of you. Thank you for showing up, participating, competing with passion, supporting one another, and proving that our youth have the courage, creativity, and heart to make a difference.

The most anticipated moment of Ignite 2026 unfolds as the six Tribes and participating youth receive recognition for their hard work, dedication, creativity, and active participation throughout the various activities.

The Awarding Ceremony celebrates not only the achievements of the participants but also the teamwork, perseverance, and camaraderie that each Tribe demonstrates throughout the convention.

As the awards are presented, Ignite 2026 honors the youth who continue to show that every effort, talent, and contribution holds a meaningful place in building a stronger and more united community.

The youth gather for a night of socialization, bringing the six Tribes together in an evening filled with laughter, camaraderie, and shared experiences.

Beyond the challenges and activities, the participants also showcase the voice and identity of their respective Tribes through performances, highlighting their creativity, talents, and unique expressions.

As the night unfolds, the socialization becomes more than just an evening of entertainment—it becomes a celebration of friendship, unity, and the connections formed among the youth throughout Ignite 2026.

Mr. Ison Porras, Keynote Speaker of Ignite 2026: Barangay Youth Convention, shares insights on the topic “Youth as the Prism of Change: Transforming Diverse Voices into Community Action.”

Drawing from the theme of diversity and collective action, he highlights how different voices, perspectives, and experiences can converge to create meaningful change within the community.

The session inspires the youth to embrace their differences, use their voices, and transform their ideas into concrete actions that contribute to a stronger and more united community.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐 𝐏𝐌 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | Fills the Minds with Awareness

Ignite 2026 continues to fill the minds of the youth with awareness as the participants engage in discussions that highlight important issues affecting their community.

Engr. Arwin F. Villegas delivers a talk on the anti-drug campaign, raising awareness among the youth on the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of making informed and responsible choices.

Meanwhile, PSSg. Michele Hilado and PSSg. Titius Ortega further emphasize the campaign while also discussing anti-bullying awareness, encouraging the youth to promote respect, empathy, and a safer environment for everyone.

The youth also take a moment for spiritual reflection through a blessing led by Rev. Fr. Nonato Beltran, Parish Priest of Our Lady of the Pillar Parish, reminding the participants of the importance of faith and guidance throughout their journey.

As Day 2 continues, Ignite 2026 creates spaces where the youth can learn, reflect, and become more aware of their role in building a safer, more compassionate, and responsible community.

From one challenge to another, the Tribes push their limits, work together, and prove that every member plays an essential role in reaching the finish line.

As the race unfolds, more than just winning is at stake—the Amazing Race brings the youth together through camaraderie, resilience, and the spirit of collective action.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | Ignite 2026 commences with a call for youth engagement and reflection

Ignite 2026: Barangay Youth Convention officially commences its three-day celebration yesterday, August 29, bringing together the youth of Barangay Cabalabaguan for a series of activities centered on participation, learning, and active citizenship.

Hon. Eden P. Pasuquin, Punong Barangay, welcomes the participating youth and encourages them to actively engage in the activities prepared for the celebration, emphasizing the importance of their role in building a stronger community.

Meanwhile, Hon. Felne Novo, SB Assigned, emphasizes the vital role of the youth in community development and encourages the participants to maximize the opportunities and experiences throughout Ignite 2026.

Following the opening program is the reflection and recollection session with Mr. Benjie S. Pelobello as the speaker.

He guides the participants through a meaningful reflection that encourages self-discovery, personal growth, and a deeper appreciation of their purpose as young individuals and future leaders of the community.

Day one of Ignite 2026 sets the tone for three days of meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and collective action, reminding the youth that every voice, idea, and contribution can help shape a stronger and more united Cabalabaguan.
