🇵🇭 CALL FOR NATIONAL FLAG DISPLAY | MAY 28 – JUNE 12, 2026 🇵🇭

The Municipal Government of Midsayap calls on all government offices, barangay offices, business establishments, schools, private institutions, and every Filipino household to proudly display the Philippine National Flag in observance of the National Flag Days from May 28 to June 12, 2026, culminating in the celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 8491, otherwise known as the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines, particularly Section 7, the Philippine Flag shall be displayed in all public and private buildings, residences, offices, schools, and establishments during this period as a symbol of patriotism, unity, freedom, and national pride.

Section 7 states:
“The flag shall also be displayed in private buildings and residences or raised in the open on flagstaffs in front of said buildings every May 28 (National Flag Day) to June 12 (Independence Day).”

Let us honor the sacrifices of our heroes and strengthen our love for country by proudly raising our National Flag with dignity and respect.

Together, let us keep the spirit of freedom alive.

A polite appeal to the lady in beige who picked up the 1,000 peso bill that was accidentally dropped by a taxpayer in our office. We kindly request that you return it. Please turn it over to our office as soon as possible. The money belongs to an elderly taxpayer who was simply settling her taxes. We appreciate your honesty and cooperation in correcting this matter.
