💜📚 LOOK | The Purple Shelves at the Midsayap Municipal Library

The Municipal Library proudly joins the Philippine Group Of Law Librarians, Inc.. in “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨” - a nationwide initiative encouraging libraries to create dedicated spaces featuring resources on women’s rights, gender equality, and leadership.

💜📚 The Purple Shelf, under our GAD Corner, launched in November 2025 with the support of the LGU Midsayap GAD Office, showcases inspiring stories, books, and digital resources that honor the strength, leadership, and invaluable contributions of Filipino women.

More than a display, it stands as a visible symbol of our commitment to gender equity and inclusive learning in the community.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026 issued by the Office of the President and Memorandum Order No. 2026-043 of the LGU Midsayap, the Office of the Municipal Library and Information Center will implement a Four-Day Work Week Arrangement effective March 9, 2026.

Office schedule: Monday–Thursday
Closed: Friday–Saturday.

This arrangement is in compliance with the directives of the national and local governments to improve work efficiency and public service delivery.

📖✨ 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲

The Midsayap Municipal Library and Information Center conducted Mobile Library Services during the community outreach program of i-Link Science and Technology – Library Department and Book Lovers Club on March 7, 2027 at the Brgy. Malamote Covered Court.

With the leadership of advisers Ms. Ivy Jordan, RL, MLIS; Ms. Rhea Soberano, RL; and Ms. Mevill Bernabe, the activity gathered 40 Grade 1–2 pupils who enjoyed storytelling, book reading, games, school supplies distribution, and a feeding program.

The outreach featured storytelling and book reading sessions conducted by the Municipal Library, while the organizers facilitated fun games with exciting surprises, distributed school supplies, and conducted a feeding program for the children.

This activity served as a meaningful channel in bringing learning opportunities beyond the classroom, promoting education, care, and love for reading among children in the community.

The Municipal Library of Midsayap expresses its sincere appreciation to our partners for making this outreach possible and for supporting programs that nurture young minds. 📚
