๐For transparency and clarification regarding the event โKirayan Tacas Fiesta Mom 2025โ
โFirst, this event was planned by the Barangay Officials and presented to the Barangay Fiesta Event Officers and Religious Officers. The facilitation and organization of the event including stage design, program flow, and accommodations were handled by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Officials. The purpose of this event was to bring enjoyment, celebrate the fiesta spirit, and raise funds for the Religious Sector.
โขThe funds raised from this event were to be turned over to the Religious Officers for proper management, as the event was primarily conducted in celebration of our Patronal Fiesta in honor of the Sagrada Familia.
โSecond, regarding the concern that 50% of the overall judging criteria was based on the donation box or funds collected by the candidates, this was agreed upon by the Barangay Council, Fiesta Event Officers, and Religious Officers. This decision was made to support fundraising efforts for the barangay. The remaining 50% of the criteria covering Production, Talent, Semi-Gown, and Interview was based on the judgesโ verdict.
โขThus, the candidates were also informed of this matter during the meeting. However, it is acknowledged that this information was not clearly disseminated, which resulted in misunderstandings. In this regard, the Barangay Council commits to improving information dissemination in future events.
โLastly, all contestants were provided with consolation prizes sponsored by the Barangay Officials. In addition, 50% of the total amount collected in each candidateโs donation box was returned to the respective candidate.
