Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to community involvement and support for quality education, personnel from Meycauayan City Jail-Male Dormitory under the leadership of JCINSP DJOHANNY L DOMINGO, City Jail Warden, represented by JSINSP ALEJANDRO E TANTAY, Assistant Jail Warden, together with personnel from Meycauayan City Jail-Female Dormitory under the leadership of JSINSP MA CRISTINA R BUSACAY, Acting City Jail Warden, represented by SJO3 Jenny B. Ramirez, Acting Assistant cITY Jail Warden, actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program held at Pajo Elementary School, Barangay Pajo, City of Meycauayan.

The event began with a motorcade featuring stakeholders, government agencies, and community partners, symbolizing a shared commitment to preparing schools for the start of classes. Following the motorcade, a formal program was conducted at Pajo Elementary School, highlighting the importance of volunteerism, collaboration, and shared responsibility in creating a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for learners.

The program was graced by distinguished guests, including Hon. Councilor Henry Lester R. Villarica, who delivered an inspiring message of support for the education sector. Also present were Catherine C. Escalante, Principal I of Pajo Elementary School, and Merlina P. Cruz, Ph.D., CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent, who emphasized the significance of Brigada Eskwela in strengthening partnerships among schools, government agencies, and the community.

Through this meaningful participation, the Meycauayan City Jail Male and Female Dormitories reaffirm their dedication to fostering community partnerships and supporting initiatives that contribute to the development and welfare of the youth and the community as a whole.

The Meycauayan City Jail Male and Female Dormitories, in partnership with the City Health Office of Meycauayan, successfully conducted a Dental Mission on May 29, 2026.

The activity was led by Dr. Ana Belen J. Dumigpi, Dentist III, together with Dr. Aleli V. Robles, Dr. Gerardo R. Moraga, Dr. Christina V. Buñing, and Dr. Amelia C. Ipapo, with the assistance of Mr. Leopoldo A. Ricafort, Ms. Honeylyn Reyes, Ms. Patrhea A. Ayson, Ms. Maura Rachei Divino, and Ms. Rosalina C. Dela Cruz.

A total of 20 PDL benefited from dental consultations, oral examinations, and tooth extraction services, promoting better oral health and overall well-being.

The activity was conducted under the leadership of JCINSP DJOHANNY L DOMINGO, City Jail Warden Male Dormitory; JSINSP ALEJANDRO E TANTAY, Assistant City Jail Warden Male Dormitory and MA CRISTINA R BUSACAY, Acting City Jail Warden, Female Dormitory, with the support of the personnel of this unit.

This initiative reflects the strong partnership between the BJMP and the City Health Office of Meycauayan in providing quality healthcare services and supporting the welfare, dignity, rehabilitation, and successful reintegration of PDL into society.

The Meycauayan City Jail Male and Female Dormitories extend their heartfelt gratitude to the City Health Office of Meycauayan and the entire dental team for their invaluable service and commitment to improving the health and well-being of PDL.

As one united community, the Meycauayan City Jail Male and Female Dormitories came together in a beautiful celebration of faith and tradition. The event was proudly led by JCINSP DJOHANNY L DOMINGO, City Jail Warden, and JSINSP ALEJANDRO E TANTAY, Assistant City Jail Warden (Male Dormitory), together with JSINSP MA CRISTINA R BUSACAY, Acting City Jail Warden (Female Dormitory).

The programs was conducted through a rosary, flower offering to the Blessed Virgin Mary and Sagala parade within the unit, which was enthusiastically participated in by Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) and the dedicated Personnel.

Through shared faith and collaboration, this unit proved that the path to true reformation is paved with hope, dignity, and a colorful reflection of our rich culture.

In a meaningful step toward rehabilitation and reintegration, the Meycauayan City Jail Male Dormitory successfully held the Awarding of Certificates of Completion for the Hairdressing NC II Training Program. A total of twenty-two (22) PDLs—composed of ten (10) female and twelve (12) male PDLs—together with three (3) BJMP personnel, proudly received their national certificates after completing the skills training program.

The successful conduct of the activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Meycauayan City Jail administration and its partner stakeholders. The presentation of graduates was led by Engr. Egbert R. Robles, Department Head of PPESO, Provincial PESO Manager, and PLTC Vice President, while the official confirmation of graduates was facilitated by the TESDA Provincial Office Bulacan headed by Mr. Niel Santioque, represented by Mrs. Daisy Cercado.

The event was further graced by inspiring messages from Mrs. Kimberly Borlado Cruz on behalf of Mrs. Josefina Geslani, PhD of PESO; Mrs. Honnie Flores Bonifacio representing Governor Hon. Daniel R. Fernando; Mrs. Justine Bartolome representing Vice Governor Hon. Alex G. Castro; JSUPT LORD ROGELIO T MONTERO V, Provincial Jail Administrator, Bulacan Province; and JSINSP JULIUS A ALCARAZ, Assistant Chief of the Welfare and Development Division.

Through programs like Hairdressing NC II, participants are equipped with practical and marketable skills that can help them build better opportunities upon release. The Meycauayan City Jail Male and Female Dormitories proudly presented the awards and recognitions garnered during the concluded 1st Quarter BJMP’s Best and Gawad Penolohiya, reflecting the jail unit’s unwavering commitment to excellence, public service, and transformative programs for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

The presentation of these awards also served as a meaningful expression of gratitude to the City Government of Meycauayan for its steadfast support, partnership, and invaluable contributions to the welfare and development initiatives of the jail community. Through the continuous assistance and collaboration of the local government, the jail units have been able to strengthen rehabilitation programs, improve services, and promote a more humane and responsive custodial environment for PDLs.

A new journey toward hope and a brighter future has officially begun as six (6) Grade 11 and eight (8) Grade 12 female Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) were successfully enrolled in the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Education Program on May 6, 2026, through the leadership of JSINSP MA CRISTINA R BUSACAY, Acting City Jail Warden.

This meaningful milestone reflects the strength, determination, and unwavering desire of our PDL to continue learning despite the challenges they have faced in life. The said program was supervised by JO1 Geleen M. Ochavillo, ALS Implementer, and was conducted by Mr. Christopher R. Plaza, ALS Teacher.

The Meycauayan City Jail–Female Dormitory extends its profound gratitude to Hon. Henry R. Villarica, City Mayor, for the donation of one (1) desktop computer and one (1) Epson printer, formally turned over on May 4, 2026.

This support bolsters the facility’s administrative capability in records management, documentation, and timely submission of reports—reinforcing transparency, accountability, and orderly jail operations. Moreover, the donated equipment significantly contributes to the effective implementation of welfare and development programs for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), particularly in the delivery of education and skills training through the efficient preparation and reproduction of instructional and program materials.

Aligned with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology’s mandate of safekeeping and development, this initiative strengthens institutional capacity while advancing rehabilitation efforts—contributing to the maintenance of peace and order and the promotion of public safety.

Agustin, in collaboration with the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office III and BJMP Meycauayan City Jail Male and Female Dormitories, under the leadership of JCINSP DJOHANNY L. DOMINGO, City Jail Warden (Male Dormitory), and JSINSP MA. CRISTINA R. BUSACAY, Acting City Jail Warden (Female Dormitory), together with their respective Assistant Wardens, JSINSP ALEJANDRO E. TANTAY and SJO3 Jenny R. Ramirez.

Rooted in the enduring belief that every life deserves a second chance, the partnership strengthens the implementation of faith-based programs designed to nurture hope, support healing, and promote moral and spiritual transformation among Persons Deprived of Liberty. This collaborative initiative highlights a unified commitment to developmental opportunities and reintegration, affirming that meaningful change is attainable through compassion, unity, and collective action.

The ceremony was graced by JSUPT LORD ROGELIO T. MONTERO V, Provincial Jail Administrator of BJMPPO-Bulacan. It was actively participated in by SJO1 Thomas Benjie Sanchez, Chief of the Welfare and Development Section of MCJMD, who presented and read the highlights of the Memorandum of Agreement, and JO2 Jerry Mae H. Masadao, Chief of the Welfare and Development Section of MCJFD, who introduced the partner faith-based sector, ensuring the smooth flow and purposeful conduct of the activity
