DEPDev Regional Office I - Ilocos DEPDev is the primary policy, planning, coordinating, and monitoring arm of the Executive Branch of government on the national economy.

DEPDev Regional Office 1 serves as the technical and administrative arm of the Regional Development Council 1. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) was established as the countryโ€™s social and economic development planning and policy coordinating body. It was created on 24 September 1972 by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 1 or the Integrated Reorganization

al Plan of 1972. It serves as the technical arm of the NEDA Board with the Philippine President sitting as Chairperson. NEDA Regional Office I (NRO I) was established on 10 February 1975 as one of the regional arms of the NEDA Central Office. As such, it serves as the technical and administrative arm of the Regional Development Council of Region I (RDC-I), a regional counterpart of the NEDA Board. The NRO I office is presently housed at the RDC/NEDA Building, Guerrero Road, City of San Fernando, La Union. VISION

The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center of the Philippines has released the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on Unsolicited Proposals (USPs), together with the Guide on the Requirements for the Completeness Check of USPs under Section 10 of the PPP Code of the Philippines and Section 53 of its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

These resources provide private proponents with clear and practical guidance on the preparation and submission of USPs for completeness checking. Through these materials, the PPP Center aims to promote a more efficient, transparent, and streamlined process for the submission and evaluation of USPs.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: Speaking at the 13th Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Network Forum on Wednesday (September 9) DEPDev Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan said AI should support, rather than displace, professional judgment and institutional accountability in the use of evidence for public decisions.

Held in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Forum also explored the use of AI-supported evidence in policy and implementation decisions, as well as the institutional, ethical, legal, data, and operational requirements for responsible use.
