𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐕𝐀 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆🎨

On August 29, 2026, the Municipal Information and Communications Technology(MICT), in partnership with the Tech4Ed Center and the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), successfully conducted the Introduction to Canva Training.

The training brought together youth participants and government employees who explored the basics of Canva, learned essential design techniques, and discovered how the platform can be used for their school, organizational, and office-related tasks.

After the discussion, participants put their learnings into practice through a hands-on activity and creative output, allowing them to apply the concepts and skills discussed during the session.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of the training! May this be the beginning of your journey in exploring, creating, and bringing your ideas to life through graphic design.

WHO CAN JOIN?
👥 Training Proper:
Participants aged 13 years old and above are welcome to join the Introduction to Canva Training. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience with Canva, you are encouraged to participate!

🏆 Municipal Linggo ng Kabataan LYDO Logo-Making Contest:
After the training, selected/qualified participants will have the opportunity to participate in the Logo-Making Contest for LYDO.
Contestants must be 15–30 years old and will represent the 27 barangays of Mayoyao.

Online registration is required for everyone who wants to attend the training proper. This registration will help the organizers determine the number of participants interested in joining the training and prepare the necessary resources and equipment.

Learners can study anytime using the center's computers and internet connection, making it an excellent opportunity for students, job seekers, out-of-school youth, workers, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in lifelong learning. The program provides courses in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Entrepreneurship, Tourism, Agriculture, Electronics, Housekeeping, Bread and Pastry Production, Cookery, Automotive, and many more. Upon completing a course, learners may receive a Certificate of Completion, and for selected qualifications, they may proceed to competency assessment at accredited TESDA assessment centers to earn a National Certificate (NC).

The 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐓) successfully concluded the User Orientation and System Presentation of 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙠360 on July 6, 2026, introducing the 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 to representatives from various offices of the Local Government Unit of Mayoyao.

The activity provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the system's features, workflow, and practical applications in streamlining visitor management and supporting the municipality's digitalization efforts. Moreover, Municipal Accountant and MICT Focal Person, Mr. Peter G. Lahina Jr., facilitated an open discussion on its implementation.

More than a system demonstration, the orientation served as a consultative session where participants actively shared insights and recommendations for additional features, particularly those that would strengthen compliance with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA). The valuable feedback gathered during the activity will be considered in refining and enhancing 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙠360 prior to its full implementation, ensuring that the system effectively addresses the operational needs of the Local Government Unit of Mayoyao.
