On my birthday, my greatest wish is for Mayoyao.
As I celebrate another year of life, my heart is filled with gratitude—not for the gifts I receive, but for the privilege of serving the people of our beloved Municipality of Mayoyao.
My birthday wish is simple yet sincere: that every family may be blessed with good health, peace, and abundant opportunities; that our youth may continue to dream and succeed; that our farmers and workers may reap the fruits of their hard work; and that our elders may always be honored for the wisdom they have passed on to us.
Above all, I pray that we remain united as one community, preserving our rich culture and heritage while working hand in hand toward a more progressive, resilient, and compassionate Mayoyao.
Thank you for your trust, your prayers, and your unwavering support. Serving you is the greatest gift I could ever receive.

May God continue to bless each one of us and our beloved Municipality of Mayoyao.

With gratitude,
Mayor Jimmy Padchanan Jr

Mayoyao LGU Recognized by DENR-CAR with Prestigious R.I.V.E.R.s for Life Award
The Municipality of Mayoyao continues to make strides in environmental protection and sustainable development as it was honored by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Cordillera Administrative Region (DENR-CAR) with a Plaque of Recognition during the Environment Month Culminating Activity held on July 6, 2026, in Baguio City.

The award recognizes the Municipality of Mayoyao, for its invaluable support and unwavering commitment to the protection and sustainable management of the Alimit River. Through the collective efforts of the local government, partner agencies, and communities, Mayoyao contributed significantly to the Alimit River's achievement of 3rd Place in the CY 2025 National Search for Recognizing Individuals and Institutions toward a Vibrant and Enhanced Rivers (R.I.V.E.R.s) for Life Award.

Representing the municipality during the awarding ceremony were Vice Mayor Rudy Chilagan Jr., Engr. Samson Guingayan, and Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) Jerome Mombael, who proudly received the recognition on behalf of the people of Mayoyao.

This prestigious award is a reflection of the municipality's steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship and the shared responsibility of preserving the rich natural resources that sustain the lives and livelihoods of the Majawjaw people. It also highlights the importance of collaboration among government agencies, indigenous communities, and local stakeholders in ensuring the long-term protection of our rivers and ecosystems.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the DENR-CAR for this recognition and commends all municipal offices, barangays, partner agencies, and community volunteers whose dedication and hard work made this achievement possible.

As Mayoyao celebrates this milestone, the Municipal Government renews its commitment to strengthening environmental conservation initiatives and promoting sustainable practices that will preserve the municipality's natural heritage for generations to come.
Together, let us continue protecting our rivers, conserving our environment, and building a greener, cleaner, and more resilient Mayoyao.

The Municipality of Mayoyao together with LEO I/PESO Designate Ms. Venice Lumayna proudly joined the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Ceremony between the Department of Migrant Workers – Regional Office CAR (DMW-CAR), the Provincial Government of Ifugao, the 11 Local Government Units of Ifugao, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

This landmark partnership signifies our collective commitment to providing accessible, coordinated, and responsive services for our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), migrant workers, and their families. Today, as we celebrate the 128th Philippine Independence Day, we honor the brave men and women whose courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love for our country secured the freedom we enjoy today.

Their willingness to give their lives for our nation reminds us that independence was not freely given—it was earned through struggle, unity, and patriotism. We pay tribute to our heroes who stood firm in the face of adversity and dreamed of a sovereign Philippines where future generations could live with dignity and hope.

As we commemorate this historic day, may we continue to uphold the values they fought for: freedom, justice, unity, and service to our fellow Filipinos. Let us honor their legacy not only through remembrance but through our commitment to building a stronger, more peaceful, and more prosperous community for all.

On behalf of the Municipal Government, I extend my warmest greetings to every Filipino. May the spirit of patriotism inspire us to work together for the progress of our municipality and our nation.

Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Mabuhay ang ating mga bayani!
