The 2nd Field Artillery Battalion, Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army participated in the three-day Inter-Agency Territorial Defense Operation (IATDO) Exercise spearheaded by the 1001st Infantry (Pag-asa) Brigade, 10th Infantry Division, Philippine Army on 22โ€“24 May 2026 at Barangay Pundaguitan, Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental.

The exercise gathered various government agencies, law enforcement units, LGUs, and partner stakeholders in strengthening territorial defense, coastal security, and Civil Defense Operations through a unified operational approach.

The activity also marked the first-ever Littoral Live Fire Exercise conducted within the Eastern Mindanao Command, highlighting the importance of interoperability and coordinated coastal defense operations.

The successful conduct of the exercise reinforced the commitment of participating agencies in enhancing territorial defense readiness, maritime security, and the protection of coastal communities through a whole-of-government approach.

๐Œ๐š๐ฐ๐š๐›, ๐ƒ๐š๐ฏ๐š๐จ ๐๐ž ๐Ž๐ซ๐จ || On 01 May 2026, the Assistant Division Commander of the 10th Infantry (AGILA) Division, ๐๐†๐„๐ ๐„๐”๐…๐‘๐€๐‚๐ˆ๐Ž ๐‰๐Ž๐„๐‹ ๐† ๐Œ๐€๐‹๐ˆ๐† ๐‰๐‘., ๐๐€, conducted an official visit to the Headquarters, 2nd Field Artillery Battalion, Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army. The visit aimed to assess the unitโ€™s operational readiness, ongoing training, and overall alignment with higher headquartersโ€™ directives.

During the visit, the Battalion presented key accomplishments, deployment status, and logistical capabilities. BGEN MALIG JR. also inspected facilities and equipment, emphasizing the vital role of artillery units in supporting ground operations. In his Talk to Troops, he highlighted the importance of discipline, teamwork, and continuous development, while commending the personnel for their dedication and service in fulfilling the Philippine Armyโ€™s mission.
