Matnog Fire Station under the leadership of SFO2 Raul L Borras II together with the Matnog MDRRMO and Matnog Engineering Office conducted Earthquake Drill, Basic Life Support Orientation and Building Inspection to Government Structures in Sisigon Integrated School and Matnog National High School in connection with the Matnog Municipal Executive oder # 038 serries of 2025. An executive order to conduct building inspection, basic life support orientation and earthquake drill in all private and public schools within the municipality of Matnog in response to rapid earthquake activity

The Philippines lies along the Pacific "Ring of Fire" and is subject to frequent seismic activity. Recently, there have been significant earthquake events in the Philippines. Beacause of this hazard, preparedness in both structural and personal readiness is critical. Earthquake drills and Basic Life Support training are two components of that preparedness.

This activity is part of the LINGAP Program under Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan, which aims to promote fire safety awareness and ensure that every household is equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to prevent fire hazards.
Through initiatives like this, we continue to strengthen our communities’ preparedness and resilience against fire-related incidents.

This activity is part of the LINGAP Program under Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan, which aims to promote fire safety awareness and ensure that every household is equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to prevent fire hazards.
Through initiatives like this, we continue to strengthen our communities’ preparedness and resilience against fire-related incidents.

17 October𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 || PRE-DISASTER RISK ASSESSMENT MEETING
𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 || SFO2 Raul L Borras II, OIC-MFM, Matnog Fire Station, attended the emergency meeting convened by Mayor Bobet Lee Rodrigueza, MDRRMC Chairperson, to prepare for Tropical Depression .

The public is strongly advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions as may bring moderate to heavy rains in the coming days. Residents, especially those living in low-lying and flood-prone areas, as well as near slopes susceptible to landslides, are urged to monitor weather updates, secure their homes, and be ready to evacuate if necessary. Preparedness and caution can help ensure everyone’s safety during this weather disturbance.
