Another successful day of service is in the books! Today, 50 students happily benefited from our Libreng Gupit initiative held at Badas Elementary School.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated individuals who made this meaningful activity possible:

✂️ Mr. Dave Ligas, Owner of 3D Barbershop, together with hairstylists Ryson Retes and Alfred, for generously sharing their time and skills in providing quality haircuts to our students.

🤝 Lygel Cuaton, Badas NHS SSLG Vice President, and Stanley Rain E. Sotomayor, Badas NHS SSLG Auditor, for their active leadership, commitment, and support throughout the activity.

Your efforts have not only provided free haircuts but have also boosted the confidence and well-being of our young learners. Thank you for helping us create a positive impact in our community.

A successful Day 1 is officially in the books! A total of 63 students eagerly availed themselves of the Libreng Gupit initiative held today at Tagawisan Elementary School.

Still, congratulations to Barangay Badas for making it to the Best 8 out of 24 barangays that joined the 1st People’s Administration Under 17 Basketball Summer League! 🏀🔥

Your journey throughout the tournament was filled with hard work, teamwork, determination, and heart. You proved that with unity and dedication, Barangay Badas can compete with the best. This achievement is already a great pride and inspiration for our community.

Special thanks to our dedicated coaching staff headed by Head Coach Francis Lloyd Daligdig together with Assistant Coaches Clarence Cose and Rafjon Forones for their guidance and commitment to our young athletes.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Punong Barangay Bonifacio Visitacion for the unwavering support to the team, and to Kagawad Ronnel Oliveros for the free use of your vehicle in every game, ensuring the players’ safe and convenient transportation throughout the tournament.

And lastly, special thanks to SK Chairman Niño Ace Arles for the full support and encouragement given to the youth to join and participate in the tournament. Your support continues to inspire young athletes to pursue their passion and showcase their talents.

Win or lose, you all gave your best and made Barangay Badas proud. Congratulations once again, future champions! 💙💛

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our U17 Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Teams for proudly representing our Barangay in the 1st People’s Administration Volleyball Summer League. Your dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship have truly brought honor to our community.

Our sincere gratitude goes to the Women’s Volleyball Team coaching staff: Head Coach Jonnabeth Canoy, Assistant Coaches Princess Leonelle Abaricio and Stella Marie Duiyan, for your guidance, patience, and commitment in developing the team’s skills and confidence.

We also commend the Men’s Volleyball Team coaching staff: Head Coach Jenison Guardarama, Assistant Coaches Joren Asendiente and John Lorenz Pagas, for your leadership and continuous support throughout the games.

Special thanks to our Punong Barangay, Hon. Bonifacio “Bebot” Visitacion, for his unwavering support and encouragement during the entire activity. We are also grateful to Kagawad Ronnel Oliveros for generously providing the use of his vehicle.

We also give special thanks to the SK Council of Barangay Badas for their support and contribution to the success of this activity.

Barangay Badas sustained its dominant form in the 1st People’s Administration U17 Basketball Summer League, defeating Barangay Danao with a decisive 103–43 victory on May 6, 2026. The team delivered an outstanding performance on both offense and defense, controlling the pace of the game from start to finish.

With this win, Barangay Badas improves to a 4–1 record, officially securing a place in the quarterfinals. The team carries strong momentum as it prepares for the next stage of the competition.

Special thanks to Althea Prince Tailoring for providing high-quality warmer hoodies for our U17 Basketball team. Your support and craftsmanship are truly appreciated.
