The City Government of Mati through the The City Tourism and Promotions Office, in coordination with the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has successfully concluded the 10-day Lifeguard Skills Qualification training for 36 lifeguard participants, composed of 35 male and 1 Female.

Held at Resurreccion Beach Resort in Barangay Bobon,City of Mati, Davao Oriental.

The graduation ceremony marks a major milestone in strengthening water safety, disaster preparedness, and responsible tourism across our city's beautiful coastal communities.

We are deeply honored by the presence and support of our leaders and partners who made this possible:

📢 ADVISORY | TEMPORARY CLOSURE FOR QUARTERLY MAINTENANCE

Please be informed that the following ecoparks and tourism facilities will be temporarily closed tomorrow for scheduled quarterly maintenance and general upkeep. This is part of our continuing effort to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and quality of experience for all visitors.

Affected sites include:

• Subangan Museum
• Aliwagwag Falls and Ecopark
• Pusan Point and Mandaya Heritage Museum
• Mt. Hamiguitan Eco-Park and Natural Science Museum
• Pintatagan Welcome Park
• Cape San Agustin

Regular operations will resume on May 27, 2026, after the completion of maintenance activities.
