𝙃𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙇𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏𝙎 | DAVAO ORIENTAL — Hon. Rotchie M. Ravelo presided over the 36th Regular Session of the 18th Sangguniang Panlalawigan on March 11, 2026 at the SP Session Hall in the Government Center, Dahican, City of Mati. During the session, the august body deliberated on key legislative matters including the referral of proposed ordinances, review of municipal ordinances and communications from local government units, and the consideration of committee reports and proposed resolutions supporting programs on agriculture, health, infrastructure, education, and local governance in the province.

𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙎 | SP Davao Oriental held its 25th Regular Session on December 17, 2025, at the SP Session Hall, Government Center, Brgy. Dahican, City of Mati, where the body deliberated on key budgetary and legislative matters, including the review and confirmation of supplemental budgets and investment programs of various municipalities, validation of local ordinances on disaster risk management, traffic regulation, health and child development, and creation of government positions, underscoring the council’s focus on fiscal management, public service delivery, and local governance.

𝙃𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙇𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏 | The Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members, led by Hon. Glenda Rabat-Gayta, convened for their 23rd Regular Session on December 3, 2025, held at the newly renovated Sangguniang Panlalawigan in Brgy. Dahican, City of Mati.

A key highlight of the session was the approval of the 2026 Annual Budget of the Provincial Government of Davao Oriental, made possible through the legislative efforts of the Chairman of Finance, Budget and Appropriations and Ways and Means, Hon. Rotchie M. Ravelo.

The Sangguniang reaffirms its commitment to transparent governance, responsible fiscal management, and continued service to the people of Davao Oriental.
