The Barangay Savoy Basketball and Volleyball Open League Category was officially launched last August 6,2022. Punong Barangay Hon. Narciso G. Sal, along with the Barangay Officials, presided over the event. It was also attended by SB Members Hon. Carlito Baring & Hon. Welter Coyoca, who delivered their message and expressed their support for the activity.
The tournament began with an action-packed volleyball match between PITIKANA and La Suerte Angels, in which PITIKANA earned their first win.
In basketball, AO Digitals won their first game against Article One, 66-42. Then followed by the match between MJJ hardware and VANZ. MJJ overcame VANZ to win with a narrow 2-point edge, 77-75.
The event was held in conjunction with the Barangay 61st Founding Anniversary, this coming 14th of October 2022.
