“The Sangguniang Kabataan of Matalom, together with Municipal LYDO Designate Miss Mariel Robhee Gador, successfully attended the 3-day's SK Leyte Conference held in Tacloban City, Leyte.”

Our deepest gratitude to the organizer of the 2025 SK Leyte conference The empower Youth Philippines inc. headed by sir janjan and team, for creating a meaningful and empowering gathering for young leaders across the province of Leyte. Thank you for providing us a platform where we can learn, connect and grow in our commitment to public service.

To our SK federation panlalawigan president Hon. MJ Luinly lumen and Province of Leyte Governor the Hon. Jericho Carlos Icot Petilla thank you for your unwavering leadership and dedication to guiding the youth sector in Leyte province. The Sangguniang kabataan of matalom successfully attended the 3 day YOUTH CAPABILITY BUILDING; SK PLANNING & BUDGETING Hotel, Cebu City Philippines also on attendance our municipal LYDO miss Mariel Robhee Kileste Gador and our municipal budget officer sir Ramonito Pada and his staff sir Coya Yhams

On behalf of the Sangguniang Kabataan Matalom, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, the LEPALBO INC. ( Leyte provincial association of local budgeting office) , to all the speakers, and everyone behind the success of the Youth Capability Building: SK Planning and Budgeting.

🌟 Gabi ng Kabataan 2025 🌟

The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation with the Local Youth Development Council of Matalom successfully held the Gabi ng Kabataan 2025 last August 30,2025 at Municipal Gymnasium, a night showcasing the talents, creativity, and unity of our youth.

The program featured inspiring and entertaining presentations such as folk dances, hip-hop performances, vocal duets, solo numbers, and balitaw, along with the giving of certificates to former LYDC members, the introduction of the new LYDC, and the awarding of Frisbee winners.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our Masters of Ceremony, Ms. Velvette Laarni Luego and Mr. Daniel Vincent Petere, for gracefully leading the event.

In line with the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 with the theme “Local Youth Actions for the Sustainable Development Goals and Beyond” we enjoin our youth and community members to take part in our Coastal Clean-Up Drive as we work hand in hand in caring for our environment and protecting our marine ecosystem.
