A total of ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ” beneficiaries successfully received their food assistance during the Walang Gutom Program Food Redemption held on June 2, 2026, at the Brgy. Riverside Covered Court, Matag-ob, Leyte.

The distribution was facilitated by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Matag-ob through the efforts of Mr. Leoveรฑo D. Decio, Focal Person, together with PDO II โ€“ Community Engagement Coordinator, Jennifer Caรฑeda and Phobe Cates Laporre.

The activity aimed to provide food support to eligible beneficiaries from various barangays, strengthen community welfare, and support families toward a healthier and more food-secure future.

The Municipal Government of Matag-ob successfully conducted the regular ๐…๐ฅ๐š๐  ๐‘๐š๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ in strict observance of established national protocol. The ceremony was attended by the Municipal Officials, Employees, Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and students, who reflect unity, patriotism, and respect for national symbols.
