Personnel of BFP Batuan, under the supervision of SFO1 Daniel N. Marcaida, Officer-in-Charge, attended the Fiesta Mass as part of the municipality’s fiesta celebration. The activity was participated in by local officials, residents, and various agencies, reflecting the community’s faith, unity, and cultural tradition.

Following the religious activity, BFP personnel conducted an information dissemination campaign through the distribution of fire safety leaflets to churchgoers and residents. The initiative aimed to raise public awareness on the importance of fire prevention and safety practices, especially during fiesta celebrations where the risk of fire incidents may increase due to cooking activities, electrical usage, and gatherings.

08 May 2026 || Batuan Municipal Fiesta Grand Parade

Batuan Fire Station duty personnel, under the supervision of SFO1 Daniel N. Marcaida, Officer-in-Charge, actively participated in the Grand Parade in celebration of the Batuan Municipal Fiesta together with various partner agencies, including the Batuan Municipal Police Station (MPS), Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), and the Philippine Coast Guard–Batuan. Barangay Officials from the different barangays of the municipality also took part in the activity, demonstrating solidarity and strong community collaboration.

The grand parade served as one of the highlights of the municipal fiesta celebration, bringing together government agencies, local officials, and residents in a display of unity, camaraderie, and cultural pride. The participation of uniformed personnel and community leaders reflected their continued support for programs and activities that strengthen public service and community engagement.

A backdraft is one of the most dangerous fire behavior phenomena.

It occurs in a ventilation-limited fire, where oxygen is low but heat and unburned gases remain.
