As part of the program, ENS JULIUS C ELOPRE PCG delivered an informative lecture on the History of the Philippine Coast Guard and its Five Core Functions: Maritime Safety, Maritime Security, Maritime Search and Rescue, Marine Environmental Protection, and Maritime Law Enforcement.

The session gave the interns a deeper appreciation of the Coast Guard’s legacy and its vital role in nation-building and the maritime sector.
