‎On 17, August 2025, The (LLCI) Lake Lanao College Inc.- ROTC Unit participated in a blood donation activity with theme: 𝐀 𝐒𝐈𝐌𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐌-𝐖𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝟒𝟐𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐌 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, held at 1602 CDC Campo Ranao, Marawi City. The event aimed to promote volunteerism and contribute to saving lives through the selfless act of donating blood.

‎The event was supported by 1602nd CDC under the instruction of 𝐂𝐎𝐋. 𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄 𝐃. 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐎 (𝐆𝐒𝐂) 𝐏𝐀. At 0900H, the LAKE LANAO cadets were formed by platoon, counting and checking attendance to enter the covered court to donating their blood.
‎
‎The blood donation drive was a success, and cheers to the cooperation of various groups, volunteers, and community leaders. The activity proves that the cadets are really committed to the importance of blood donation and also in helping others. To maintain these impactful initiatives and strengthen community ties, ongoing support is crucial. Additional support came from students of (MIT) Mindanao Institutions Technology , (LCCI) Lano Central College Incorporated and (MSU) Mindanao State University - Main Campus. The event was concluded at 1145H.

‎On 10 August 2025, The (LLCI) Lake Lanao College Inc.- ROTC Unit successfully conducted it's MS-1 ROTC orientation for 1st semester Academic Year 2025-2026, held at 1602 CDC Campo Ranao, Marawi City.
‎
‎The Lake Lanao College Inc. ROTCU orientation was headed by 1602nd (LDS) CDC DIRECTOR COL. TANTE D. ANGAGAO INF (GSC), faciliated by Sgt. Ryan B. Cañonero (Inf) PA - [Admin NCO of LLCI ROTC Unit]. During the session, they learned about the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) and it's function.

‎During the orientation, COL. TANTE D. ANGAGAO INF (GSC) PA,shared his pieces of advice and experience which aid the cadets to inspire and enjoy their ROTC training.
‎
‎The journey of discipline and service officially began as the ROTC cadets gathered for their first training week. The orientation served as a gateway to understanding the role of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps instilling patriotism not only with military knowledge but also with a strong sense of civic duty.

On 270900 July 2025, The 1602 CDC, 16RCDG, BARMM, RESCOM, PA conducted Joint Closing Ceremonies of Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) MS 31/32 and MS 41/42 from different School of Lanao del Sur, was formally closed with COL MOH-YUSOP R HASAN MI (GSC) PA, Group Commander, 16RCDG, BARMM, RESCOM, PA as Guest of honor speaker and delivered his message to the One Hundred One (101) participants of ARAPT MS 31/32 and MS 41/42 held at H1602CDC, 16RCDG, BARMM, RESCOM, PA, Kampo Ranao, Marawi City, Lanao del Sur. Likewise the Joint Closing Ceremonies of the said event were a significant event, highlighting the commitment to professionalism, integrity, and excellence among the participants. The presence of COL MOH-YUSOP R HASAN as the Guest of honor speaker (GOHAS) adds to the importance of the occasion, as he shared valuable insights with the cadets and personnel involved. Such initiatives contribute to the development of leadership and character in the youth, preparing them for future challenges.

The Lake Lanao College Incorporated ROTC Unit mourns the passing of Dr. Taharoden Ampaso Ariong Angni Alawi Alamo Ampao Maruhom Kahar Wahab, J.D. (Sangcopan a Adil sa Raya)—a visionary educator, compassionate leader, and founder of Lake Lanao College Incorporated.

Born to humble farmer parents, Dr. Wahab rose through hardship and perseverance to complete his education. From 1992 to 2002, he served in various private schools in Marawi City, where he witnessed the heartbreaking struggles of orphaned students, many of whom were forced to drop out of school due to financial hardship.

Determined to make a difference, he established the Lake Lanao College Foundation Inc., the first and only institution in Marawi City and Lanao del Sur dedicated to serving orphans and underprivileged youth. Through this initiative, he transformed education into a beacon of hope and a path out of poverty.

Dr. Wahab may no longer be with us, but his impact lives on in every student he helped, every dream he made possible, and every future he shaped through his vision and sacrifice.

The LLCI ROTC Unit extends its deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, and loved ones. Thank you, sir, for your lifetime of service and unwavering dedication to uplifting others through education.

You will be missed, but never forgotten.
