Marawi City Jail, under the wardenship of ๐‰๐’๐ˆ๐๐’๐ ๐‰๐€๐˜๐‹๐Ž๐” ๐ƒ ๐๐€๐˜๐Ž๐˜๐Ž๐’, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Marawi City Fire Station, under the supervision of Fire Marshal ๐…๐’๐ˆ๐๐’๐ ๐‡๐€๐™๐„๐‹ ๐‹ ๐’๐€๐€๐•๐„๐ƒ๐‘๐€, ๐Œ๐๐€, represented by SFO2 Aladin Mundas, Chief of Operations, conducted a Fire Safety Lecture for Marawi City Jail personnel, delivered by FO1 Alican T Bato and FO1 Marohombsar D Odal Jr.

The discussion covered the BFPโ€™s mission and vision, the history of the worst fire incidents in the Philippines, types of fire, common sources of fire and their dangers, and the proper use of a fire extinguisher. LOOK: The Joint Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) and the Bangsamoro Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRMC) conducted its 1st Quarter Meeting on March 13, 2026, in Makati City, presided over by Bangsamoro Chief Minister Abdulraof A. Macacua. The activity was notably attended by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology โ€“ BARMM, led by Regional Director JSSUPT ERWIN KENNY P RONQUILLO, MM, MPSA, reaffirming BJMP BARMMโ€™s strong commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace, order, and disaster preparedness in the Bangsamoro region.

Also present were key officials from various national and regional government agencies who convened to discuss pressing issues concerning the current peace and order situation in the region.

Among the agenda discussed were updates on security developments, including recent shooting and ambush incidents, the campaign against illegal drugs, and incidents monitored by the BDRRM Operations Center.

Through this joint meeting, participating agencies reviewed the current peace and order landscape, assessed disaster preparedness and response capabilities, and strengthened inter-agency coordination to ensure that the Bangsamoro region remains safe, stable, and resilient.

The PAO-BARMM, conducted a Jail Visitation, Legal Consultation and Ramadhan Iftar Drive to the PDL of Marawi City Jail on March 12, 2026.

In addition, PAO BARMM gives a Islamic seminar for female and male PDL, this kind of activities gives a morale for the PDL even they were incarcerated behind bars.

Furthermore, a distribution of pack meals and bottled water was conducted for the PDLs. This activity serves as a testament to the transformative power of kindness and the profound impact of community support, particularly during the sacred period of Ramadan. It was a considerate gesture aimed at aiding the spiritual development and providing solace to the PDLs during this blessed time.
