‎Alhamdulillah 🤍

‎There are dreams that break you before they build you, and this is one of them.

‎Norman P. Taritib of the Lanao People’s Park and Public Library once carried a quiet, sincere dream: to answer the call of Hajj. With determination, he saved his every money, holding tightly to that hope, until it was taken from him through deception. In a moment, everything he worked for was gone.

‎But Allah (S.W.A) is the Best of Planners.

‎Through patience (sabr) and unwavering faith, what seemed like an ending became the beginning of something far greater. During the 66th Araw ng Lanao del Sur celebration, “Pakaradiyaan o Sarimanok,” a celebration of unity, heritage, and resilience, his story changed in the most unexpected way. In a single raffle draw, Allah wrote for him what no effort alone could secure: a complete Hajj journey, supported by the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur.

‎Our heartfelt gratitude to the Provincial Governor of Lanao del Sur, Dr. Mamintal "Bombit" Alonto Adiong Jr. and Vice Governor Mohammad Khalid Adiong for their inspiring leadership, and for the unwavering support and generosity extended to the pilgrims.

‎We also extend our sincere appreciation to Faisal S. Moti, who not only serves under the PGLDS Hajj Assistance Team but is also part of the LPPPL family, and to Dr. Ambrosi M. Alonto, for their dedicated efforts in ensuring a smooth and meaningful journey for our pilgrims. Your service is truly a bridge of hope for those answering the call of Allah.

‎From loss to blessing.
‎From heartbreak to barakah.
‎From waiting… to finally arriving.

‎Today, he walks the sacred path to Mecca, guided and supported every step of the way, now among the chosen guests of Allah.

‎A powerful reminder to us all: no hardship is ever wasted. What is written for you will always find its way, more beautiful than you ever imagined, and right on time.

‎Alhamdulillah 🤍

‎Today, May 4, 2026, the first Monday of the month, was truly a meaningful and memorable day for all of us. We were deeply honored and grateful to be joined by the Human Resource Management Office of the Provincial Capitol of Lanao del Sur, led by their esteemed head, Ma'am Azrifa Mamutuk Alonto, together with the head of the Provincial Tourism of Culture and Arts Office (PTCAO), Sir Ahmad Nouraldinn Tamano Jr., and the head of the Lanao People’s Park and Public Library (LPPPL), Ms. Maharlanny M. Alonto, as they graced our flag-raising ceremony with their presence.

‎The celebration featured an awarding segment recognizing staff who showcased creativity, cultural pride, and elegance through their ASEAN-inspired attire. Awards were given for Best ASEAN Attire (Male and Female Categories) and Best ASEAN Uniform among offices. Congratulations to all the winners for proudly representing the richness and diversity of ASEAN culture!

‎The program continued with a series of fun and engaging games that brought laughter, excitement, and camaraderie among participants from the Lanao People’s Park and Public Library, the Provincial Tourism of Culture and Arts Office, and the Technology and Livelihood Development Center. It was truly heartwarming to witness the spirit of unity, teamwork, and sportsmanship shared by everyone.

‎Maraming salamat po for spending your time with us and for making this day truly special. We sincerely hope this will not be the last, and we look forward to more meaningful engagements in the future, In shaa Allah. 🤍
