During the assembly, Barangay Chairwoman Alexandria Ayessa Lanto Gandamra delivered the State of the Barangay Address, presenting the key programs, projects, and initiatives that reflect our commitment to good governance, transparency, and inclusive development.
Among the highlights discussed were our strengthened environmental management efforts, particularly the proper segregation and collection of solid waste in accordance with Republic Act 9003. This initiative continues to promote cleanliness, discipline, and environmental responsibility within our community.
The barangay also reaffirmed its dedication to protection and welfare programs, including the active implementation of the Violence Against Women (VAW) Desk and the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC), ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of women and children.
Updates were also provided regarding the Barangay Residents Information System (RBI) and the Barangay Profile, emphasizing the importance of accurate data in delivering efficient and responsive services to all constituents.
In terms of development projects, we are proud to share that our Water System Project is now 90% complete, bringing us closer to achieving a reliable water supply for every household. Additionally, the ongoing Barangay Pathways and Street Lighting Projects aim to enhance accessibility, safety, and convenience, especially during nighttime.
This Barangay Assembly is not only a presentation of accomplishments but also a celebration of unity and cooperation. It reminds us that true progress is achieved when leaders and constituents work hand in hand toward a common goal.
Once again, thank you to everyone who made this event a success. Together, let us continue building a peaceful, progressive, and resilient barangay for all.

This collective effort reflect s the Barangay's commitment to promoting cleanliness, environmental responsibility,and community cooperation as we prepare spiritually and physically for Ramadan.Through unity and shared responsibility,we strive to maintain a clean, healthy,and peaceful community for all.

📢 INFORMATION ADVISORY

TO: ALL BARANGAY OFFICIALS – ISLAMIC CITY OF MARAWI

Please be informed that pursuant to Memorandum Order No. SZIG-2026-11 dated February 11, 2026, issued by the Office of the City Mayor, all barangays are directed to actively participate in the Citywide Clean-Up Drive in preparation for the Holy Month of Ramadan.

🗓 Date: Friday, February 13, 2026
⏰ Time: 7:00 A.M. sharp

All barangays are instructed to mobilize their officials, staff, volunteers, and residents to ensure the successful implementation of this activity within their respective areas.

Priority shall be given to:
• Cleaning of streets and drainage systems
• Clearing of public spaces and communal areas
• Promotion of cleanliness, order, and environmental responsibility
• Removal of personal tarpaulins, posters, streamers, and similar materials installed in public areas, especially those attached to electric posts and trees

This activity will be led and supervised by the City General Services Office (CGSO) and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).

Let us work together in unity and discipline as we prepare to welcome the blessed month of Ramadan.

Alhamdulillah...
In line with the objective of the BARMM interim Chief Minister, Hon. Abdulraof A. Macacua, to build resilient and progressive Bangsamoro communities, the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government ( MILG) hold the Turnover Ceremony of "rescue vehicle".
Barangay Raya Madaya II, has been selected to receive a rescue vehicle. The Selection of beneficiaries for this project is based on parameters set by the Ministry, prioritizing barangay with ideal functionality as reflected in the assessment results of the Local Government Functionality Appraisal for Barangay (LoGFA-B).
Barangay Raya madaya II extends it's heartfelt thanks to MILG Marawi Dir. Alibaer M. Pangandamun for his dedicated support and continous commitment to the welfare and development of our barangay.

This achievement reflects the barangay's strong commitment to good governance, accountability, and Transparency in public service. The dedication and cooperation of it's officials greatly contribute to effective coordination and the successful implementation of government programs. And another commendable accomplishment is the successful implementation of Monthly Regular Road Clearing Operations for Calendar 2025,in line with the MILG guidelines on Barangay Road Clearing Operations (BarCo).
