Our barangay successfully conducted a Barangay Assembly as part of our mandate to uphold transparency, accountability, and active community engagement. During the assembly, we tackled several pressing issues affecting our residents, including garbage disposal, drug-related cases, and frequent road accidents.

We also took the opportunity to listen to the concerns, suggestions, and recommendations of our constituents, ensuring that their voices are heard in our decision-making process.

The activity was also graced by Honorable Kagawads, key stakeholders, and representatives from the Marawi City Police Station, led by Sir Disomnung, who shared valuable insights and reaffirmed their support in maintaining peace and order within our community.

Following the assembly, the session proceeded to the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) regular meeting, where further plans and interventions were discussed to strengthen our local anti-drug initiatives.

Together, we remain committed to building a safer, cleaner, and more progressive barangay for everyone. ๐Ÿ’š

Earlier today, the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur, through the personnel of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), delivered immediate assistance to the MSU students who were displaced and devastated after a fire broke out around 4:00 AM today, completely burning down their cottage and belongings.

The PSWDO was joined by officials of Barangay Lomidong and representatives from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), who also extended support and assistance to the affected students.

This joint effort reflects the spirit of bayanihan and compassion in times of hardship. Our heartfelt prayers and solidarity go out to the students as they recover from this unfortunate incident. ๐Ÿ’š

Sa pamumuno ng ating Chairwoman at ilang barangay officials patuloy na isinasagawa ng ating barangay ang tuloy-tuloy na paglilinis sa mga kanal at daluyan ng tubig bilang tugon sa lumalalang problema ng sobrang pagtatapon ng basura. Ang mga baradong kanal ay nagdudulot ng pagbaha sa mga daanan ng tao, na nakakaapekto sa kaligtasan at kaginhawaan ng lahat.

Sa pamamagitan ng regular na paglilinis at sama'samang pagkilos, layunin nating maibalik ang maayos na agos ng tubig, mapanatiling ligtas at malinis ang ating kapaligiran, at ๐™ˆ๐˜ผ๐™ƒ๐™„๐™†๐˜ผ๐™”๐˜ผ๐™ ang bawat isa na maging ๐™๐™€๐™Ž๐™‹๐™Š๐™‰๐™Ž๐˜ผ๐˜ฝ๐™‡๐™€ sa pagtatapon ng basura. Bilang tugon sa lumalalang problema ng pagtatambak ng basura sa mga kanto ng ating barangay ng ilang residente at mga dumadaan, nagsagawa ng hakbang ang ating mga opisyal ng barangay sa pangunguna ng ating barangay captain at pakikilahok sa brigada ng Mindanao State University Main Campus - Marawi upang masugpo ang isyung ito. Kabilang sa mga inisyatibo ang mas pinaigting na pagbabantay, paglalagay ng mga babala, pagsasagawa ng clearing ng mga nakatambak na basura, at mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng mga ordinansa sa kalinisan. Sama-sama nating panatilihin ang kaayusan at kalinisan sa ating barangay dahil responsibilidad ito ng bawat isa sa atin.

Curfew enforcement with TF Marawi in key areas around lomidong particularly in purok5 (fisheries drive) Purok 3 (Upper Lomidong).

Results:
-Compliance check: Officer Sir Lucas and Sir Fahad conducted checks on streets and public areas, advising residents to return to their homes and close their establishment immediately.
-Deployment and foot patrol: TF Marawi and Bpats conducted foot patrol on streets and alleys around fisheries and upper lomidong
-Awareness Campaign: Apprehended Violators explained their reason and advice by sir lucas to go home immediately and informed their family members and friends about the effecting curfew hours.
