The Barangay proudly took part in the Three-Day Training and Seminar on “Barangay Budgeting and the New Government Procurement Law (Republic Act No. 12009)” held on November 10–12, 2025, at Bedjoria Hall, Ranaw Business Hotel, Marawi City.

This important activity was organized by the Regional Association of Local Budget Officers, Inc. (RALBO) XII, in partnership with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Regional Office XII.

The seminar aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of local officials and financial officers in preparing sound barangay budgets and ensuring compliance with the New Government Procurement Law. Participants were equipped with updated guidelines, practical insights, and best practices to promote efficiency, transparency, and accountability in local fiscal management.

The Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Beyaba Damg proudly takes part in the “FLOOD-FREE LANAO: Waterway Clean-Up Drive Campaign” as part of its monthly BARCO Program.

This meaningful activity was conducted in partnership with the General Services Office (GSO) – Marawi City, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), and the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur.

Through this joint effort, the BLGU Beyaba Damg reaffirms its commitment to promoting environmental protection, proper waste management, and proactive community participation toward a cleaner and safer environment. The cooperation of Barangay Officials, BPAT members, BDRRMC and partner agencies symbolizes unity in action for a resilient and flood-free Lanao.

The Barangay Local Government Unit of Beyaba-Damag extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR-BARMM) Provincial Office for successfully conducting the Pulong-Pulong (Community Consultation) on Government-Owned Lands (GOLs) affected by the Marawi City Ring Road Project and those covered under the Camp Keithley CARP.

We also thank MAFAR-BARMM for its initiative and continuous effort in facilitating the process toward making these lands titled to their rightful occupants. This step is a significant move toward ensuring land security, justice, and inclusive development for our community.

Our gratitude also goes to all residents and stakeholders who actively participated and shared their insights during the consultation.

The Barangay Beyaba Damag Lupon Tagapamayapa has once again successfully resolved a community conflict through the peaceful process of mediation and amicable settlement. This recent resolution highlights the effectiveness of our Katarungang Pambarangay system in promoting harmony and addressing disputes at the grassroots level.

We commend the parties involved for their cooperation and willingness to reach an agreement without resorting to formal litigation. Their openness to dialogue and compromise is a testament to the community’s growing respect for peaceful conflict resolution and the important role of the Lupon in maintaining unity and order.

Ang Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) Marawi ay nagsagawa ng isang Interfacing activity kasama ang Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB) upang pagtibayin ang koordinasyon at kolaborasyon ng mga Barangay Local Government Units (BLGUs) sa pagpapatupad ng mga programa sa ilalim ng lokal na pamahalaan. Layunin ng aktibidad na ito na masiguro ang mas epektibong pagsubaybay sa mga proyekto at mandato na dapat ipatupad ng bawat barangay, lalo na sa usapin ng mga Barangay-Based Institutions (BBIs).

Sa nasabing pag-uulat, kinilala ang Barangay Beyaba Damag bilang isa sa iilang barangay na buong sumusunod (full compliance) sa itinakdang pagsusumite ng mga Barangay-Based Institutional Reports. Kabilang dito ang buwanang (monthly), kada-tatlong buwan (quarterly), at kada-anim na buwan (semestral) na mga ulat na kinakailangang ipasa sa tanggapan ng MILG. Ang ganitong antas ng pagsunod ay nagpapakita ng mahusay na pamumuno, aktibong pakikilahok ng mga miyembro ng barangay, at matibay na sistema ng pamahalaang lokal.

Ang ganitong pagkilala ay patunay ng pagiging huwaran ng Barangay Beyaba Damag sa larangan ng lokal na pamamahala at tapat na pagtupad sa mga itinalagang tungkulin ng isang barangay sa ilalim ng batas.

Barangay Beyaba Damag Kaisa sa Malawakang Kampanya ng Lungsod Kontra Dengue
Tema ng Kampanya: “Taub, Taktak, Tuyo, Takip”

Ang Barangay Beyaba Damag ay buong pusong nakikiisa sa isinasagawang City-Wide Anti-Dengue Drive na may temang “Taub, Taktak, Tuyo, Takip”, na naglalayong mapigilan ang pagdami ng mga lamok na may dalang dengue sa ating mga komunidad.

Sa pangunguna ng Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) na pinamumunuan ng masigasig at aktibong Barangay Nurse Noronihar Rasuman Pandaag, RN, kami ay nananawagan sa lahat ng mga residente na makiisa sa gawaing paglilinis at pagpapanatili ng kalinisan sa ating kapaligiran.

Ang kampanyang “Taub, Taktak, Tuyo, Takip” ay nangangahulugang:

Taub – Itapon ang naipong tubig na maaaring pamugaran ng lamok;
Taktak – Ibuhos ang tubig sa mga lalagyang hindi kailangan;
Tuyo – Patuyuin ang mga lugar na maaaring kapitan ng tubig;
Takip – Takpan ang mga lalagyang ginagamit na imbakan ng tubig.
Ang lahat ng ito ay simpleng hakbang na makatutulong nang malaki upang maiwasan ang dengue sa ating barangay.

Mga kabarangay, sama-sama po tayong maglinis, magbunot, at magwalis sa ating mga bakuran, kanal, at paligid. Suportahan po natin ang adhikain ng ating barangay tungo sa isang malinis, ligtas, at dengue-free na komunidad.

Sa tulong at gabay ng ating BHERT, sa pangunguna ni Nurse Noronihar Rasuman Pandaag, nawa’y maging matagumpay ang kampanyang ito.

Kalusugan ay kayamanan — Linisin ang kapaligiran, iwasan ang dengue!

Ang ating kalusugan ay isa sa pinakamahalagang aspeto na dapat nating bigyang-prayoridad. Hinihikayat po namin ang lahat ng aming mga kabarangay sa Barangay Beyaba Damag na magtungo at magpakonsulta sa aming Barangay Health Station, ang iskedyul para sa child immunization ay tuwing Miyerkules, habang tuwing Martes naman ay para sa family planning. Tuwing Huwebes ay maternal check-up naman. Ang ating mga tagapaglingkod pangkalusugan ay buong pusong committed na maglingkod sa inyo, sa pangunguna ni Nurse Nihar Pandaaag.

TB Directly Observed Treatment Short-Course (TB-DOTS)
Dengue awareness and mosquito control

Pagkatapos makatanggap ng notice mula sa City Engineering Office ng Lungsod ng Marawi tungkol sa gagawing road clearing, agad na kumilos ang Barangay Beyaba Damag para suportahan ito. Nag-ikot ang barangay at ipinaabot sa mga vendors, residente, at buong komunidad ang paalala na linisin at alisin ang mga nakaharang sa kalsada, gaya ng mga paninda, gamit, at iba pang bagay na sagabal sa daanan.

Layunin ng road clearing na maging maluwag at ligtas ang mga kalsada para sa lahat. Dahil dito, hinihikayat ng barangay ang lahat na makiisa, sumunod, at makipagtulungan para maging maayos at maaliwalas ang ating lugar. Kapag sama-sama tayong kumilos, mas magiging maayos ang daloy ng trapiko at mas ligtas ang ating pamayanan.
