PDEA Lanao del Sur Thanks CDRRMO Marawi City for Assistance in Clearing Operation

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Lanao del Sur Provincial Office extends its sincere appreciation to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) of Marawi City for its prompt assistance in clearing fallen and overgrown trees at the rear portion of the Provincial Office on August 4, 2026.

Upon the request of the Marawi City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) Focal Person, the CDRRMO immediately responded and provided the necessary manpower and equipment to remove fallen trees, trim overgrown branches, and clear the area of debris, helping ensure the safety and cleanliness of the office premises.

PDEA Lanao del Sur expresses its gratitude to CDRRMO Marawi City and the CADAC Focal Person for their support and continued commitment to strengthening inter-agency cooperation in the service of the public.

PDEA Lanao del Sur Pinalalakas ang Pakikipag-ugnayan sa LGU ng Madalum; Nagsagawa ng Courtesy Visit at Ocular Inspection para sa Itatayong Balay Silangan

MADALUM, Lanao del Sur – Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapaigting ng kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga, nagsagawa ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pdea Lanao del Sur , sa pamumuno ni IA III Charishmon C. Labado, Provincial Officer, ng courtesy visit sa Local Government Unit (LGU) ng Madalum at kasunod na initial ocular inspection sa iminungkahing Balay Silangan Reformation Center noong Hulyo 27, 2026.

Dumalo sa courtesy visit sina Municipal Mayor Hon. Fathma Hazrat O. Sarangani-Asis, Vice Mayor Hon. Omeraidah S. Mindalano, at MADAC Focal Person Ms. Ahniza Mindalao. Tinalakay sa pagpupulong ang pagpapatupad ng Barangay Drug Clearing Program (BDCP), kasalukuyang sitwasyon ng ilegal na droga sa munisipalidad, Drug-Free Workplace Program, at ang pagtatatag at operasyon ng Balay Silangan. Napag-usapan din ang mga kinakailangang dokumento para sa pagpapanatili ng Drug-Cleared at Drug-Free Barangays, gayundin ang mga rekisito para sa aplikasyon ng Madalum bilang Drug-Cleared Municipality.

Matapos ang pagpupulong, nagsagawa ang PDEA Lanao del Sur, kasama ang MADAC Focal Person, ng paunang ocular inspection sa iminungkahing lokasyon ng Balay Silangan sa Brgy. Delausan. Layunin ng aktibidad na masuri ang kaangkupan ng lugar bilang magiging pasilidad para sa reformation, rehabilitasyon, at muling pagsasama sa lipunan ng mga kwalipikadong nagtutulak ng Droga, alinsunod sa komprehensibong programa ng pamahalaan laban sa ilegal na droga.

Patuloy na nakikipagtulungan ang PDEA Lanao del Sur sa mga lokal na pamahalaan upang mapalakas ang pagpapatupad ng mga programang kontra ilegal na droga at maisulong ang pagbuo ng mga ligtas, mapayapa, at drug-resilient na pamayanan.

PDEA Conducts BDCP Reorientation and Drug-Free Workplace Program for Masiu LGU

Marawi City, Lanao del Sur – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Lanao del Sur Provincial Office, under the leadership of IA III Charishmon C. Labado, conducted a two-day reorientation on the Barangay Drug Clearing Program (BDCP) and a Drug-Free Workplace Program lecture on July 22–23, 2026, at Curly Frost–Heaven Branch, Marawi City.

The activity aimed to strengthen the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Masiu's efforts toward achieving Drug-Cleared Municipality status while promoting a drug-free workplace and community.

The activity was attended by representatives from the 35 barangays of Masiu, partner government agencies, the Philippine National Police (PNP), the religious and education sectors, and PDEA personnel. Discussions covered the national drug situation, ill effects of illegal drugs, salient provisions of Republic Act No. 9165, the Drug-Free Workplace Program, Balay Silangan Reformation Program, and the documentary requirements and application process for Drug-Cleared Municipality status. The program concluded with an open forum where participants' queries were addressed.
