A Faithful Al-Khalifah | Dedicated Public Servant | Environmental Steward
With profound sadness, we mourn the passing of our beloved colleague, Hamdanie M. Dimaampao, IBGP Validator & Forest Ranger, who faithfully served the Integrated Bangsamoro Greening Program (IBGP) for more than five years. Today, he returned to his Creator after courageously battling severe dengue and its complications.
For more than five years, Hamdanie dedicated his life to protecting Allah's creation and serving the Bangsamoro people. His unwavering commitment to environmental conservation was a true reflection of his faith, dedication, and responsibility as an Al-Khalifahโa steward entrusted by Allah (SWT) to care for the earth. Through his tireless work in forest protection, tree-growing activities, environmental validation, and community service, he transformed every responsibility entrusted to him into acts of Ibadah, strengthened by Imaan (faith) and manifested through Amaal (righteous deeds).
His final service with us during the Office of the Vice President (OVP) Tree-Growing and Clean-Up Drive on July 14 now carries an even deeper meaning. It stands as a lasting testimony to his sincere devotion to protecting Allah's creation. We pray that every tree he helped plant, every forest he helped protect, every piece of waste he helped remove, and every act of service he rendered will continue to earn him Sadaqah Jariyahโa continuous charity whose rewards endure. By Allah's infinite mercy, may these righteous deeds become among those that lead him to Jannatul Firdaus.
Beyond his environmental service, Hamdanie was among the most active and dependable members of the MENREโLanao del Sur family. His enthusiastic participation throughout the month-long celebration of the 67th Araw ng Lanao del Sur reflected his unwavering commitment to public service, teamwork, and the welfare of the Bangsamoro community. He served not for recognition, but with humility, sincerity, and a heart always willing to help.
More than his accomplishments, Hamdanie M. Dimaampao will forever be remembered for his exemplary character, cheerful spirit, unwavering dedication, and genuine kindness. He was a dependable Forest Ranger, a diligent IBGP Validator, a supportive teammate, and a trusted friend whose presence inspired everyone around him. His willingness to go beyond what was expected and his positive attitude made him an invaluable member of our workforce.
Although his journey in this world has come to an end, the seeds of goodness he plantedโin our forests, within our communities, and in the hearts of those who had the privilege of working alongside himโwill continue to flourish for generations. His legacy lives on in every tree that grows, every forest that thrives, and every life inspired by his service.

May Allah (SWT) forgive all his shortcomings, accept every righteous deed he performed, illuminate and widen his grave with His boundless mercy, and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah also grant Sabr (patience), comfort, and strength to his bereaved family, relatives, friends, and to the entire MENREโLanao del Sur and IBGP family during this time of grief.
Hamdanie M. Dimaampao, you have faithfully fulfilled your trust as an Al-Khalifah. Your service to Allah's creation was your legacy, your dedication was your testimony, and your life will continue to inspire us all. You may have departed from this world, but your footprints remain in every forest you protected, every tree you planted, and every heart you touched. You will forever be remembered, honored, and deeply missed.
