Sa pagtatapos ng banal na buwan ng Ramadhan, tayo ay nagbabalik-loob na may pusong puno ng pasasalamat, kababaang-loob, at pag-asa. Nawa’y tanggapin ni Allah SWT ang ating mga panalangin, sakripisyo, at mabubuting gawa.

Sa ngalan ng Philippine Councilors League – Lanao del Sur at BARMM, kami ay taos-pusong bumabati sa inyong lahat ng isang mapayapa at makabuluhang Eid’l Fitr. Nawa’y magsilbi itong paalala ng ating pagkakaisa, malasakit sa kapwa, at patuloy na paglilingkod para sa ikabubuti ng ating komunidad.

HAPPY WORLD HIJAB DAY!

Sa ngalan ng Philippine Councilors League – Lanao del Sur at BARMM, ako ay taos-pusong bumabati ng Maligayang World Hijab Day sa lahat ng mga Hijabi dito Bangsamoro at sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.

Ang hijab ay hindi lamang tela. Ito ay simbolo ng pananampalataya, dangal, lakas ng loob, at malayang pagpapasya. Isa itong tahimik ngunit matatag na pahayag ng pagkakakilanlan at paninindigan ng kababaihang Muslim.

Sa araw na ito, kinikilala at pinapahalagahan natin ang bawat Hijabi at ang inyong mahalagang ambag sa pamilya, komunidad, pamumuno, edukasyon, at serbisyo publiko. Kayo ay huwaran ng disiplina, tapang, at pagmamalaki sa ating kultura at pananampalataya.

Nawa’y magsilbi ang World Hijab Day bilang paalala ng paggalang sa pagkakaiba, mas malalim na pag-unawa, at mas mapayapang mundo. Sa pagkakaisa ng iba’t ibang kultura at paniniwala, ipinapakita natin na ang hijab ay tulay at ito'y hindi hadlang sa pagkakaisa.

Kami sa PCL ay naninindigang kasama ninyo sa pagtataguyod ng dignidad, karapatan, at boses ng bawat kababaihan.

A meaningful celebration of integrity,
leadership, and good governance unfolded during the 2025 Local Legislative Award held on December 6, 2025, at the Social Hall, New Capitol Complex. Launched in 2006 by the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government, this prestigious recognition continues to honor the exemplary performance of our Sanggunians in crafting legislation that strengthens local governance and sustainable development.

Re-Elected as Regional Council Chairperson of PCL–BARMM

Alhamdulillah!

Isang malaking karangalan na muling pagkatiwalaan bilang Regional Council Chairperson ng Philippine Councilors League – BARMM. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng konsehal ng rehiyon na nagbigay ng panibagong mandato upang ipagpatuloy ang ating adbokasiya para sa mas matatag na pamamahala at mas makabuluhang serbisyo sa BARMM.

Ang muling pagkakahalal na ito ay hindi lamang pagsuporta sa aking liderato, kundi pagpapatibay ng ating sama-samang hangarin para sa mas epektibong local governance sa rehiyon.

Alhamdulillah & Congratulations!

Sa ngalan ng PCL-Lanao del Sur at PCL-BARMM, kami po ay taus-pusong bumabati kay Hon. Toxi Disomimba Lucman III sa kanyang matagumpay na pagkakahalal bilang Regional President ng VMLP BARMM Chapter. Ang inyong pamumuno ay nagsisilbing ilaw at inspirasyon sa maraming mga mambabatas sa ating lalawigan at sa buong rehiyon ng Bangsamoro.

Ang inyong dedikasyon sa paglilingkod at ang patuloy ninyong pagsusumikap para sa ikabubuti ng ating mga kababayan ay tunay na kahanga-hanga. Sa ilalim ng inyong pamumuno, kami ay panatag na magpapatuloy magandang serbisyo, at magkakaroon tayo ng mas makulay, mas maunlad, at mas matatag na Bangsamoro.

Nawa’y patuloy kayong gabayan ng ALLAH SWT ng karunungan, lakas, at tatag sa pagtupad ng inyong mga tungkulin. Inaasahan naming makikita ang mga positibong pagbabago at mga makabuluhang proyekto na inyong pangungunahan para sa ikauunlad ng ating komunidad.

𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 13𝙩𝙝 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣

The Provincial Legislative Body convened today for its 13th Regular Session, dedicating its efforts to addressing a vital blend of immediate relief concerns and long-term financial planning critical for the well-being and future of Lanao del Sur.

A Pillar of Sympathy and Action: A cornerstone of this session was the deliberation of a deeply meaningful resolution. This measure officially seeks to express the profound sympathy and unwavering solidarity of the province with all those who suffered from the recent major calamities—specifically the September 30, 2025 earthquake in Cebu, the October 10, 2025 twin earthquakes in Davao Oriental, and the destruction left by Typhoon Tino (Kalmaeigi) and Super Typhoon Uwan (Fung-Wong). Beyond offering condolences, the resolution takes a crucial proactive step: it strongly urges the Provincial Government to not only extend concrete assistance to these affected areas but also to immediately commit to strengthening our own local disaster preparedness and climate resilience measures, ensuring Lanao del Sur is fully equipped to protect its communities from future threats.

Laying the Financial Groundwork for Tomorrow: The session also featured the crucial introduction and discussion of key financial instruments necessary for sustained growth. This included the proposed resolution to approve the Loan Ordinance of the Municipality of Bacolod Kalawi. This is a pivotal decision aimed at securing necessary funding to spur significant infrastructure and development projects at the municipal level, directly benefiting the residents there. Furthermore, the legislative body received the formal introduction of the Proposed Appropriation Ordinance for Fiscal Year 2026. This ordinance represents the detailed, strategic blueprint for provincial spending next year, defining the allocation of resources across essential sectors like health, education, and social services.

These legislative actions affirm the Provincial Body's commitment to compassionate governance, robust public safety, and sound fiscal management for the benefit of every resident in Lanao del Sur.

Isa na namang makabuluhang session ang ginanap ng 21st Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Lanao del Sur! Ilan sa mga mahalagang agenda na tinalakay ay:

- Resolution honoring and celebrating the life and exemplary service of the late Speaker Atty. Pangalian M. Balindong
- Resolution mandating strict implementation of age requirement for driving any kind of vehicle
- Ordinance promoting smoke-free public spaces and regulating the use of to***co and v**e products
- Resolution endorsing the establishment of a Provincial Halal Slaughterhouse to generate local employment and income for the province.

Today’s session was presided by Board Member Sharieffudin “Paolo” T. Lucman as Presiding Officer, while I served as the Acting Governor of Lanao del Sur.
