Maramag Municipal Jail joins the entire nation in the observance of National Human Rights Consciousness Week from December 4 to 10, 2025 with the year's Theme "Karapatang Pantao: Kasama sa Araw-araw".

As Public Servants, we reaffirm out commitment in upholding the dignity of every Persons Deprived of Liberty under our care and respecting and protecting every human rights in its highest form.

MARAMAG MUNICIPAL JAIL joins the nation in the observance of Urban Poor Solidarity Week (UPSW) 2025 with the theme "Sama-sama sa Pag-ALPAS sa Bagong Pilipinas!"

FACTS: Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 367, series of 1989, the first week of December of every year is declared as Urban Poor Solidarity Week (UPSW), a nationwide observance that promotes awareness, unity and empowerment of the urban poor sector.

Today, we commemorate the legacy of Nelson Mandela, whose life and examples continues to shape movements for human dignity, fair justice and the betterment of prison system.

"We are involved" in uplifting the human rights of every Persons Deprived of Liberty, ensuring the provision of basic needs and providing recreational activities especially to PDL with Special Needs like Senior Citizen PDL under our care!
