Extemporaneous Speaking Contest

Guidelines
1. Participants must be a bona fide resident of a represented Barangay.
2. Participants must be 15-30 years old.
3. One (1) representative per Barangay only.
4. The topic shall be given on the spot by the judges. The judges shall give only one (1) topic related to this year’s International Youth Day/Linggo ng Kabataan theme.
5. The event will be done in a Close door form.
6. The contestant shall be given two (2) minutes to prepare and maximum of five (5) minutes to deliver.
7. The contestant is not allowed to have any gadget.
8. A timer (flashcard) accessible to the contestant, judges and audience shall be provided.
9. The contest master is accountable to the sanctification of the competition.
10. There will be a 1-point deduction for every 30 second overtime from the judge’s total score before determining the rank of the contestants.
11. The style of the delivery shall be conversational, oratorical or a combination of both.
12. The contestant should wear white-long sleeves polo and black pants/slacks. If contestant not able to wear the required clothing 3-points will be deducted from judges total score before determining the rank of the contestants.
13. Use of sound effects and props is disallowed.
14. In observance to the health standard protocols, contestants are only allowed to remove the facemask if the time-given is for them to speak.

Schedule and Venue
1. Extemporaneous Speaking Contest will be on October 24, 2021 9:00 am at Barangay Colambugon Legislative Office, Colambugon, Maramag, Bukidnon.

Decision Procedures
1. Participating Barangay who did not follow the Guidelines given score deduction may apply. Review procedures may apply.
2. Final Scores will follow Ranking System Procedures.
3. If tie or equal score may occur the Final Rank and Score of the Chairman of the Board of Judges will be followed.
4. Judges Final Score and Decisions are irrevocable.

Poster Making Contest

Guidelines
1. Participants must be a bona fide resident of a represented Barangay.
2. Participants must be 15-30 years old.
3. One (1) representative per Barangay only.
4. Poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize on the campaign on “Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo”
5. Art materials will be limited on the following:
a. 1/4 illustration board provided by the Sangguniang Kabataan Pederasyon,
b. Pencil, and
c. Oil pastel
6. Marker are not allowed to use.
7. Artist will be given 2 hours to create and finish their output.
8. Bring your own materials (Pencil and Oil Pastel)

Schedule and Venue
1. On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest will be on October 24, 2021 9:00 am at Barangay Colambugon Covered Court, Colambugon, Maramag, Bukidnon.

Decision Procedures

Photography Contest

Guidelines
1. Participants must be a bona fide residence of a represented Barangay
2. Participants must be 15-30 years old
3. Participant/s may use Mobile, Digital or DSLR camera.
4. Participating Barangay must submit only 3 best photos.
Photo A - Portrait Photography (Indigenous People)
Photo B - Landscape Photography (Agricultural Site)
Photo C - Architectural Photography (Tourism).

5. Each photo must have Photo Title (Do not exceed into 6 words) and indicate the location upon submitting the entry.
6. A Photo must be taken after the imposition of this guidelines and mechanics.
7. A Photos must be taken from any of the Barangays in the Municipality of Maramag, Bukidnon.
8. A photo must be originally taken by a participant and must be visually clear and not pixelated.
9. Copyright Infringement of the original owner of the photo is under the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons liability.
10. Enhancing the colors of the image are allowed.
11. Adding secondary images, clip arts, Texts or other tools are not allowed.
12. Participant/s or the Barangay SK must provide their own materials needed.
13. Photographs that includes crime, drugs, sexual and animal abuse and cultural degradation will automatically disqualify.
14. Photographs will be reviewed, evaluated and checked before accepting the entry. Returning the entry may apply if it will not follow the given guidelines to avoid disqualification.

Schedule and Submission
1. Deadline of the entry will be on October 18, 2021 (Monday). Late entries will be ignored and will not accepted.

Scoring Procedure
1. All photos will be judge individually using the Criteria provided by the committee.
2. Scores from the 3 Photos (Photos A, B, and C) of the Participating Barangay will be added to get the Joint Total Score from one (1) judge. (Percentage System will be applied).
(Ex. Judge 1
Photo A: 99%
Photo B: 89%
Photo C: 90%
Joint Total Score = 278% / 3 = 92.66%)
3. Joint Total Score of the participating barangay from the judges (Judges 1, 2, and 3) will be added to get the Final Score/Rank. (Ranking System will be applied).
(Ex. Barangay Gwapo:
Judge 1: 99%
Judge 2: 98%
Judge 3: 100%
Final Score: 297% / 3 = 99%
Final Rank: 1st)

Movie Clip Parody

Guidelines
1. Participants must be a bona fide resident of the Barangay.
2. Participants must be 15-30 years old.
3. Movie Clip to be imitated must be original and can be downloaded from YouTube or other platform. Citation of the owner (Movie Title) of the movie clip is a must.
4. Original Movie Clip must be visible in the Parody Video at approximately 1/16th of the space at the lower right of the screen.
5. Parody must be dubbed.
6. Subtitles from the movie are allowed to be change according to the creativity. Additional audio effects is also allowed.
7. Free choice of any movie. Language and Dialects used allowed are in English, Filipino and Bisaya.
8. Use of green screen and any other editing and technical skills are allowed.
9. Movie clip of choice must not shorter than 2 minutes and should not exceed 5 minutes.
10. Use of improvised costumes, props and settings are highly encouraged.
11. Rated SPG must be observed.
12. Use of pyrotechnics, real knives or any deadly weapons will be considered disqualified.
13. Any dangerous acts is not allowed.

Mobile Legends Tournament

Guidelines
1. Players must be a bona fide resident of a represented Barangay
2. Players must be 15-30 years old
3. 1 team only per barangay
4. Team must consist of 6 players (1 reserved)
5. Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson shall finalize the players provided to have NSO/PSA or Birth Certificate Xerox copy
6. The group shall decide their play place (recommended at home) as long as they maintain physical distancing
7. The committee shall not liable for any lags and connection problems during the games, thus teams must ensure that they have good connection before the tournament
8. The virtual tournament will be live streamed on October 17, 2021.

Rules:
1. No trash talk of bad words.
2. 15 minutes late after the given schedule automatic disqualified.
3. Double elimination only.

Participants should provide the following:
1. Mobile devices
2. Power banks/chargers
3. Internet connection

Modern Dance Contest

Guidelines
1. Participants must be a bona fide resident of a represented Barangay.
2. Participants must be 15-30 years old.
3. 5 members per group
4. Members of the groups may be composed of all males or females, or any combination thereof.
5. Participation in the event is entirely at the dancers’ own risk. Performance of dangerous choreography will not be reflected favorably in the scoring.
6. Use of props will be allowed as long as it will not cause any delay in the program and any harm to the performance of other groups. Props such as oil, confetti, pyrotechnic gadgets, smoke generators or combustible material, broken glass, live animals, sharp objects and the like are prohibited.
7. Music will be remix or not as long as 3 minutes minimum and 5 minutes’ maximum.
8. Dancers should wear mask or face shield and social distancing (standard size) may apply in the dance movement and choreography.
9. Only dancers are allowed to go in the competition venue.

1. Dance competition will be on October 24, 2021 9:00 am at Barangay Colambugon Covered Court, Colambugon, Maramag, Bukidnon.
