Adunay 35 ka accounting personnel gikan sa MMontesclaros Holdings Incorporated, MMontesclaros Farms Incorporated, ug MMontesclaros Hospitality Corporation ang mitambong aron mapalambo ang kahanas sa Excel functions, data management, reporting, ug dashboard development — tanan gitumong sa mas maalamon ug mas episyenteng operasyon sa trabaho.

Kabahin ang maong kalihukan sa extension project nga: Addressing the Digital Divide: Advancing Digital Literacy in Bukidnon's Development Sectors, Phase 4 — ang padayong saad sa CMU nga mahatagan og gahum ang sektor sa negosyo sa Bukidnon pinaagi sa kalidad nga extension service.

From raw data to powerful dashboards — that's exactly what 35 accounting personnel from the MMontesclaros group of companies in Bagontaas, Valencia City, Bukidnon unlocked yesterday.

CMU's College of Information Sciences and Computing (CMU-CISC) brought the classroom to the corporate world through a full-day training on "Applied Excel for Workplace Workflow, Reporting, and Data Management" — covering everything from Excel functions and data organization to PivotTables, reporting, and interactive dashboard development.

This is what extension service looks like — real skills, real people, real impact. As part of CMU's flagship program Addressing the Digital Divide: Advancing Digital Literacy in Bukidnon's Development Sectors, Phase 4, CMU-CISC continues to show up where it matters most — in the heart of Bukidnon's growing business community.

Valencia City, Bukidnon (June 2, 2026) - The College of Information Sciences and Computing (CISC) of Central Mindanao University continues its commitment to community development through the Tech Drive Extension Activity, themed "Addressing the Digital Divide: Advancing Digital Literacy in Bukidnon's Development Sectors."

The activity include Educare Schoolhouse, a private school, focusing on Computer Maintenance and Troubleshooting.

This initiative is further strengthened through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between CISC and Educare Schoolhouse, effective November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2028.

Through this partnership, CISC will provide training, technical assistance, expert recommendations, troubleshooting support, and project monitoring and evaluation. Meanwhile, Educare Schoolhouse will help identify community needs, support extension programs, provide financial counterpart assistance, and ensure the availability of facilities for project implementation.

On June 5 (Friday), teacher and faculty participants will gather at CISC Laboratory Room for another learning session covering Basic Excel, Formulas and Functions for Reporting, File Management, and Basic Troubleshooting.

The College of Information Sciences and Computing (CISC) of Central Mindanao University conducted its TechDrive Extension Activity today at Educare Schoolhouse, a private educational institution in Valencia City, Bukidnon.

This two-day extension program focuses on the theme, “Addressing the Digital Divide: Advancing Digital Literacy in Bukidnon’s Development Sectors.” The initiative aims to strengthen digital competencies and promote technology-driven development within the local education sector.

As part of the activity, teachers and school administrators participated in an initial assessment to evaluate their knowledge and skills in computer maintenance and troubleshooting, both for personal and institutional use.

The results of the assessment will serve as the basis for a series of capacity-building training sessions tailored to their specific needs, ensuring that participants gain practical and relevant digital skills in the days ahead.

Through this initiative, CISC continues its commitment to empowering communities through technology, fostering digital literacy, and supporting the advancement of education in Bukidnon. # # # (Media and Information Unit)

We did it! The 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 (𝗢𝗛𝗦) 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 has been successfully conducted on April 30, 2026 at the Capability Building Unit, University Extension Office, Central Mindanao University!

From workplace hazard identification to fire safety and emergency preparedness — our UEO personnel came ready to learn, and left empowered to act. 💪
