The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) concludes the successful 2-Day Basic Life Support (BLS) Training for rescue groups of Barangay Punta Silum and Patag.

For two days, participants enhanced their knowledge and skills in emergency response, including life-saving techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), proper patient assessment, and basic first aid.

Mayor Stephen Tan and Municipal Councilor Miko Lagrosas, Committee Chairperson on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management of the Sangguniang Bayan, joined in the closing program of the said training.

Good news, runners! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
The registration for the Resilience Fun Run has been EXTENDED to give more participants the chance to join and be part of this meaningful activity in celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026.

🗓 New Registration Deadline: June 10, 2026

Registration Fee: ₱150.00
Registration includes:
✔️ Post-race meal
✔️ Acrylic medal for the first 150 finishers
Payment shall be sent to GCASH 0999-488-4607 (R** ***k T*****c). LGU Manticao will issue an official receipt for other LGUs who wish to participate.

Registration fee is non-refundable but transferable.

We encourage everyone to register now and run for resilience, preparedness, and community unity!

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT | DEADLINE OF REGISTRATION FOR RESCUE OLYMPICS ENTRIES

All Community-Based Rescue Groups in Manticao are reminded that the deadline for submission of entries and registration for the Rescue Olympics 2026 is tomorrow, May 31, 2026.

Interested teams are encouraged to register early and complete all necessary requirements at the MDRRMO Office on or before the deadline to be able to participate in a 2-day training in preparation to the Rescue Olympics.

The Rescue Olympics aims to strengthen teamwork, emergency response skills, and disaster preparedness among community responders as part of the National Disaster Resilience Month celebration.
