The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Paco successfully conducted the Participatory 3-Dimensional Mapping Activity on September 11, 2026, at the Barangay Hall. The activity provided the youths and Sk officials with an opportunity to visualize the community surroundings, identify potential hazards, identify important infrastructures, landmarks, and to strengthen disaster preparedness . 🗺️🏡

We extend our sincere gratitude to our speakers from Tublay: Honorable Shane A. Awacan, SB Member/Committee Chair on DRRM, Ms. Sharmaine S. Vicente, LDRRMO, Mr. Rodelio L. Arinos, LYDO, and Mr. Kyle Dominic S. Aniceto, LDRRMO Staff, for sharing their knowledge and expertise with us. 🙏💙

We also thank the representatives from the Mankayan LGU-Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Mr. Mateo Jr. Estalin, LDRRMO, Mr. Allen Jake Doman, Ms. Chinlyn G. The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Paco, in collaboration with Lepanto National High School, successfully conducted the Public Speaking and Campus Journalism Workshop last September 5, 2026. The activity provided the youth with an opportunity to strengthen their communication, writing, and storytelling skills. 🎤📝

The workshop focused on building confidence in expressing ideas, speaking effectively, and using journalism as a meaningful platform to inform, inspire, and engage others. 💙

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Paco successfully conducted the Plogging for a Cause today, September 5, 2026, bringing together participants and supporters for a meaningful cause. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🌱

More than a run and clean-up drive, the activity served as an opportunity to promote a cleaner and healthier community while extending our support to Mr. Richard N. Subido. Every step and effort made this activity meaningful. 🤝

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Paco successfully concluded the opening of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, together with the KK Assembly, and Gender and Development (GAD) Activity today, August 21, 2026. ✨

During the KK Assembly, SK Chairperson Hon. Jacob W. Gumastin presented the SK’s past and upcoming projects, programs, and activities, and shared fund utilization to promote transparency and accountability among the youth. 🤝

The GAD Activity was facilitated by Sir Francis Louis S. Likigan, who shared meaningful insights and led discussions on gender awareness, equality, and inclusivity. 💜

Our sincere thanks to everyone who participated and helped make the activities meaningful and successful. With continued commitment and participation, we can build a more informed, empowered, and united youth community. ✨

𝗦𝗞 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗼’𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Paco, Mankayan, Benguet is pleased to announce the approved Ordinances authored by the Sangguniang Kabataan: (1) Creating Project AYUWAN (Adopting to Youth Developmental Changes and Understanding One's Well-being Through Positive Approach and Nurturing Environment), and (2) Institutionalizing the Annual Cultural Presentation of the Living Heritage of Benguet.

Anchored on Republic Act No. 10742, as amended by Republic Act No. 11768, both programs strengthen collaboration among government agencies, educational institutions, and community stakeholders. These initiatives ensure that youths will receive quality health services and actively participate in cultural preservation and youth development programs.

Project AYUWAN will provide essential health services, including Complete Blood Count (CBC), Urinalysis, HIV Testing and Counseling, Rapid HEADSS Assessment, Blood Sugar Testing, Medical Consultation, Social Behavioral Change Communication, and other youth-centered health interventions. Meanwhile, the Annual Cultural Presentation of the Living Heritage of Benguet will provide opportunities for youth to showcase indigenous traditions, music, and performances, including traditional instruments such as the gangsa, takik, and solibao, fostering cultural pride among the younger generation.

Both programs shall be implemented by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Paco, Mankayan, Benguet in partnership with concerned government agencies, educational institutions, and stakeholders, with funding appropriated from the SK Annual Budget. 💼
