ANNOUNCEMENT: 2026 IN TOUCH WITH EXCELLENCE

For those scholars who did not receive a personal invitation to the 2026 In Touch with Excellence, there are three options:

OPTION 1: WALK-IN
Walk-ins will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

For Undergraduate Scholars, the program will start at 12:30 PM.

*Please note: Slots are not guaranteed. Walk-in slots will only become available if there are invited scholars who are unable to attend the event.

OPTION 2: CLAIM YOUR MEDAL AT DOST-SEI TAGUIG
You may visit DOST-SEI Taguig on any day that is convenient for you to claim your medal.

If Dr. Jayeel S. Cornelio, PhD, Director IV, and/or Mr. Peter Gerry P. Gavina, MRM, Division Chief of the Science and Technology Scholarship Division, are available, they will personally pin your medal, and you will also have the opportunity to take a photo with them and your companion.

OPTION 3: JOIN THE 2027 IN TOUCH WITH EXCELLENCE
You may also choose to be included in the 2027 In Touch with Excellence.

Once the schedule for the 2027 event is finalized, we will open a Google Form for you to accomplish.

You may bring any proof of your Distinction or Latin Honor. Thank you!

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Following the evaluation, a payroll list will be prepared indicating the financial assistance each student is qualified to receive.

Once finalized, the payroll will be forwarded to DOST-SEI Taguig for validation and crediting.

| Alinsunod sa anunsyo ng Presidential Communications Office (PCO), ipatutupad ang 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤-𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦-𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞) 𝐛𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, dahil sa masamang panahon dulot ng Habagat.
Saklaw nito ang mga PUP Campuses at Extension Programs sa NCR, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Occidental Mindoro at Oriental Mindoro.

Maaari pong ipagpatuloy ang serbisyo at request sa pamamagitan ng email at SINTA.

Para sa iba pang PUP campuses at academic extension programs, ang ipapatupad na kaayusan sa klase at trabaho ay nakabatay sa mga abiso na ilalabas ng kani-kanilang mga lokal na pamahalaan (LGU).
