Yesterday, the Association of Philippine Volunteer Fire Brigades, Inc. served as a standby emergency response team during the “Sight on the Goal: Sports Performance Vision in Action” event held at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

Upon the request of FDM Vision Care Research & Training Institute, the team provided on-site medical support to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, guests, and stakeholders throughout the event.

The Association of Philippine Volunteer Fire Brigades, Inc. celebrated its 50th anniversary and held the 51st induction ceremony for officers, directors, and members at East Ocean Palace Restaurant.

The event honored the selfless service of Chinese-Filipino volunteer firefighters, featured vibrant lion and dragon dances, cultural performances, a drum presentation, and welcomed new board members.

Leaders reflected on APVFBI’s 50-year legacy of protecting communities, nurturing future volunteers, and serving society with courage and dedication.
