LPU Manila Library - Sotero H. Laurel Academic Resource Center The Sotero H. Laurel Academic Resource Center is the library of the Lyceum of the Philippines University-Manila campus.

Laurel Academic Resource Center (SHL ARC) is named after Senator Sotero H. Laurel in abiding appreciation to his passion for scholarship, spirit of enlightened nationalism, unceasing quest for the truth and in grateful recognition of his life time dedication to LPU. The Doctrina Christiana, printed in 1593, is one of the first books printed in the Philippines.

More than just a book, it marked the beginning of printing and publishing in the country, preserving knowledge, language, and faith for generations to come.
