Baha man o tag-ulan, mag-ingat sa leptospirosis!

Ang leptospirosis ay isang sakit na maaaring makuha sa paglusong sa baha o tubig na kontaminado ng ihi ng infected na hayop, lalo na ng daga.

⚠️ Mga sintomas:
• Lagnat
• Pananakit ng ulo at kalamnan
• Pamumula ng mata
• Pagsusuka o pagtatae
• Paninilaw ng balat at mata (sa malalang kaso)

🛡️ Paano makaiwas?
✔️ Iwasang lumusong sa baha kung hindi kinakailangan
✔️ Magsuot ng bota at protective gear
✔️ Linisin agad ang sugat at takpan ito bago lumusong sa tubig
✔️ Panatilihing malinis ang kapaligiran upang maiwasan ang pagdami ng daga

🩺 Kapag nakaranas ng sintomas matapos malubog sa baha, magpatingin agad sa pinakamalapit na health facility.

📢 Maagang konsultasyon ang susi upang maiwasan ang malubhang komplikasyon.

✔️ Pagsusuka o pagtatae

The Management and Staff of Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center deeply mourn the passing of our beloved colleague, Erlinda P. Agdeppa, who faithfully and selflessly served our medical center for many years.
